Playoff Predictions
As we enter the 2013 playoffs, I’ll run through how I see this playing out as we conclude the season and crown a new champion.
Spoiler alert, I’ll begin by sharing the two teams I see representing the AFC and NFC in the SFL Super Bowl.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers [11-5] dressed in their whites and playing as visitors to the Indianapolis Colts [12-4] wearing their blues and playing as the home team in Miami Florida… these are your NFC and AFC Conference Champions! There are rumors this game will be played during the 2nd SFL Meet-Up being held in Miami (November 11th – November 14th) – how EPIC would that be???
I predict the Indianapolis Colts will defeat the Tampa Bay buccaneers 21 to 13 winning their first SFL Super Bowl championship. I ran seven quick simulated games between these two opponents and the Indianapolis Colts won five of those games [31-7, 24-17, 35-9, 0-20, 24-14, 20-10 and 27-3].
The Tampa Bay buccaneers path to the Super Bowl had them defeating the San Francisco 49ers in a nail biter and then defeating the Arizona Cardinals convincingly.
The Indianapolis Colts path to the Super Bowl had them defeating the Oakland Raiders in a one-sided event and then getting their revenge against the Cincinnati Bengals (who beat the Colts in the regular season).
