We All AGREE (right?) – 1st Round Talent
QB Jameis Winston: Early on, it was thought he might g 1st overall… but just about EVERYONE feels Winston goes 7th overall to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
HB Todd Gurley: A lock to be selected in the top half of the 1st round… probably finds himself with the Jacksonville Jaguars [8th] or Arizona Cardinals [13th].
HB Melvin Gordon: Again, a top half of the 1st round talent… Jacksonville Jaguars [8th] or Arizona Cardinals [13th].
HB Jay Ajayi: Likely gets selected late in the 1st round or early in the 2nd round [Maybe to the Detroit Lions at 1.20, Oakland Raiders at 1.26 or Tennessee Titans at 2.02].
HB David Johnson: Some project a late 1st round selection… middle of 2nd round is more likely where he goes off the board [to the Dallas Cowboys maybe].
WR Darren Waller: Nearly EVERYONE has Waller going to the New York Jets.
WR multiple options: After Darren Waller, there’s probably 5 other guys that get selected in the 1st round… Stefon Diggs, Amari Cooper, Chris Conley, Kaelin Clay and Devante Parker.
TE Tyler Kroft: Definitely will be selected in the 1st round… could see the New York Giants [14th or 23rd] or Chicago Bears [27th] selecting the best TE in the draft class.
TE Blake Bell: Might be a stretch to take Bell in the 1st round, but if a team has a STRONG need maybe he’s taken late by the Chicago Bears if Kroft is already gone [27th].
OT Brandon Scherff: Seems EVERYONE has Scherff being selected in the bottom half of the 1st round [Philadelphia Eagles at 1.22].
OL multiple options: After Brandon Scherff, there’s probably 5 other guys that get selected late in the 1st round [early 2nd round at the latest]… OT Daryl Williams, OT D.J. Humphries, OT Donovan Smith, OT Ereck Flowers and OG Ali Marpet.
DE Frank Clark: UNANIMUS 1st overall selection of the 2015 SFL Draft… to the Philadelphia Eagles.
DE Preston Smith: Likely a top 10 selection… no one sees Smith making it past the Seattle Seahawks at 1.10.
DE Danielle Hunter: Knowing Clark and Smith are long gone… the Green Bay Packers select Hunter at 1.17 [replacing the departed Jay Moore].
DE Dante Fowler Jr.: Seems a safe bet that Fowler is selected in the 1st round by the Cincinnati Bengals at either 1.21 or 1.24 [they have a STRONG need for a edge rusher].
DT Carl Davis: The options at defensive tackle are thin in this year’s draft… which might heighten the value Davis offers, maybe the Cincinnati Bengals at either 1.21 or 1.24.
OLB Za’Darius Smith: Most regard Smith as the best OLB in this years draft class… the New York Giants probably have the strongest need [the have two 1st round picks].
OLB other options: After Za’Darius Smith, there’s probably 2 other guys that get selected late in the 1st round [early 2nd round at the latest]… OLB Lorenzo Mauldin and OLB Benardrick McKinney [seems the New York Giants, Washington Redskins and Pittsburg Steelers have the strongest need – Redskins are without a 1st round pick].
MLB Jake Ryan: Not a ton of need in the SFL for MLB’s… if the Philadelphia Eagles don’t take Jake Ryan [or one of his peers] at 1.22 we might not see a MLB selected until the 2nd round.
CB Byron Jones: Unthinkable to see Byron Jones getting past the Jacksonville Jaguars at 1.08… and hard to see him getting past the San Diego Chargers at 1.04.
CB other options: After Byron Jones, there’s probably 3 other guys that get selected late in the 1st round… CB Marcus Peters, Eric Rowe and Ronald Darby [seems the Cincinnati Bengals, Miami Dolphins and Detriot Lions are the neediest in their defensive backfield].
SS Landon Collins: The options for safety talent is thin in this year’s draft… which might heighten the value Collins offers, the HOT rumor is the San Diego Chargers don’t let Collins get past pick 1.04.
