AFC East
1.
Miami Dolphins
2.
Buffalo Bills
3.
New England Patriots
4.
New York Jets
Analysis: The three time defending AFC Champion
Miami Dolphins have to be the favorites, right? Their team is beginning to age a bit, but most of the players are still in their prime. Behind them, it's a good question mark. The
Buffalo Bills are the defending division champions, so I like them to still be strong contenders. The
New England Patriots may also have a breakout season (which is odd to say considering they made the playoffs in 2014). Last place looks to be the
New York Jets but I would be shocked if they were so bad that Kevin Mullendore loses his job.
AFC North
1.
Baltimore Ravens
2.
Pittsburgh Steelers
3.
Cincinnati Bengals
4.
Cleveland Browns
Analysis: The
Baltimore Ravens have consistently been good, but have undergone a couple of difficult seasons. My intuition tells me they're due for a solid 2015 campaign. I also like the
Pittsburgh Steelers to improve, but mostly because GM Gary Cohen sees success wherever he goes. Meanwhile, it feels bad to put the
Cincinnati Bengals in third place, but they're due for a bit of regression. Last place will likely be the
Cleveland Browns.
AFC South
1.
Indianapolis Colts
2.
Tennessee Titans
3.
Houston Texans
4.
Jacksonville Jaguars
Analysis: The
Tennessee Titans roster looks completely stacked, but I trust the consistency that will be the
Indianapolis Colts behind their new franchise QB Brady Quinn. Tennessee is flashy, but the Colts can grind out wins without the "boom or bust" mentality. The
Houston Texans continue to improve, while the
Jacksonville Jaguars will struggle mightily after hitting rebuild mid-way through last season.
AFC West
1.
Denver Broncos
2.
San Diego Chargers
3.
Kansas City Chiefs
4.
Oakland Raiders
Analysis: The only team in the division who really has any chance to win it this season is the
Denver Broncos. They're looking to win now and they've adequately prepared for the future as well. Between the rest, I do think the
San Diego Chargers have the most complete roster. The
Kansas City Chiefs may see some success as well. Last place will be the pitiful
Oakland Raiders. You know why. Their roster just sucks!
