By Brad Barber

1.19- WR Devante Parker- Tennessee Titans- GM Apolo Shapiro GRADE A
47 receptions, 577 yards, 19.23 ypc average, 2 TD, 2 drops, 2 Pancake blocks
Comments:
So of course when I posted my 1st draft grades we run a game and Parker goes off so he did go up in both receptions (1st among rookie WR), yards (1st among rookie WR), he has been nothing short of solid for the Titans but does have some issues with drops (1st among rookie WR). Once he gets that cleared up he should be even more of a threat.

1.20- QB Marcus Mariota- Miami Dolphins- GM Daren Roberts GRADE INCOMPLETE
No stats
Comments:
Mariota is clearly the future here in Miami but has not yet been given a shot so for that they get an incomplete.

1.21- LOLB Lorenzo Mauldin- Cincinnati Bengals- GM Brady Tinnin GRADE A
27 tackles, 3 tackles for a loss, 1 sack, 1 FF, 2 DEF, 2 CTHA
Comments:
Mauldin is another of several solid OLB in this class, he is 8th among rookie OLB in tackles and much like ROLB Bernardrick McKinney he is having a productive 1st half of the season. It will be interesting to see if all the OLB who are starting from week 1 will all have around the same statistics.

1.22- QB Sean Mannion- Philadelphia Eagles- GM Anthony Cepparulo GRADE C-
41/111, 482 yards, 36.94 comp%, 4.32 YPA, 0 TD, 9 INT, 17.2 QB rating
Comments:
It's always tough throwing a QB into the deep end right out of the gate but even tougher when the QB's AWR is in the 50's. If Mannion is going to start you really need to find a playbook that will benefit him. I'd have to believe Anthony might be regretting selecting this very raw QB.

1.23- ROLB Zadarius Smith- New York Giants- GM Romeo Mendez GRADE A
30 tackles, 5 tackles for a loss, 1 sack, 2 FF, 1 INT, 4 DEF, 4 CTHA
Comments:
It appears that many of these OLB's are going to be around the same statistically. Smith is another one who should have a very bright career in NY. Right now he's 5th in tackles, tied for 4th in tackles for a loss amongst rookie ROLB, not too shabby.

1.24- LE Danielle Hunter- Cincinnati Bengals- GM Brady Tinnin GRADE A
10 tackles, 4 sacks, 2 FF
Comments:
Hunter can turn out to be the cream of the crop from the DE class when it's all said and done, I'm sure frank Clark will have something to say about that as well as the others in this class but we'll see. Right now he's tied for 1st for rookie LE in sacks with 4 and tied for 3rd in the league in sacks, quite impressive so far.

1.25- DT Carl Davis- Atlanta Falcons- GM Brad Barber GRADE A
10 tackles, 3 tackles for a loss, 2 sacks, 1 FR, 1 INT
Comments:
Davis has been really productive for the Falcons, I wished I knew the secret as I always feel we have decent DT but they never seem to produce. Davis is tied for the rookie lead for DT in sacks and even has an interception to boot. He's well on his way to becoming one of the better DT's in the SFL for a long time.

1.26- WR Geremy Davis- Oakland Raiders- GM Brad Barber GRADE C
19 receptions, 285 yards, 15 ypc average, 2 TD, 1 drop, 2 Pancake blocks
Comments:
I gave this a C but i think he's having a solid season in the slot WR role, I don't want to go through each team to see who the slot WR's are but I'd have to guess he'd be up there it's just way too much work to find out for sure.

1.27- RT D.J. Humphries- Chicago Bears- GM Brent Lachapelle GRADE C
4 Pancake Blocks, 2 Sacks Allowed
Comments:
It's clear that Brent is just bringing him along slowly or for the future but it still doesn't mean half of his drop backs gave up a sack which is not great. OL are tough to guage and I'm sure he'll be just fine, hsi grade refelcts what he is up until this point though.

1.28- LE Preston Smith- Houston Texans- GM Wade Pearce GRADE A
17 tackles, 5 tackles for a loss, 3 sacks, 1 fumble recovery
Comments:
Much like Hunter, Preston Smith is turning out to be great value for the Texans, hopefully they can get the wins they need to keep their job because I'd like him to see this through. Smith is 2nd in tackles, 2nd in tackles for a loss and 2nd in sacks, can't really ask for much more this late in the 1st.

1.29- ROLB Shaq Thompson- Cleveland Browns- GM Ian Coyle GRADE B
29 tackles, 8 tackles for a loss, 4 DEF, 2 CTHA
Comments:
He's 4th in tackles, tied for 1st in tackles for loss among rookie ROLB but to me he just isn't making the impact yet that I thought he would. He has a ton of potential and I think it will come out more in the 2nd half of the season but right now the grade is fair imo.

1.30- TE Tyler Kroft- Kansas City Chiefs- GM Rodany Mendez GRADE A
15 receptions, 302 yards, 20.13 ypc average, 2 TD, 3 drops, 15 Pancake Blocks, 0 sacks allowed
Comments:
Kroft is tied for 12th in catches, 12th in yards, 5th in ypc average and tied with many in TDs but that is league wide so I gave it an A, he's hanging with the best, doesn't have the greatest QB and still putting up solid totals.

1.31- LT Darryl Williams- Denver Broncos- GM Tom Collins GRADE A
30 Pancake Blocks, 1 sack allowed
Comments:
He's tied for 11th in the league in pancake blocks and has only allowed 1 sack all season so it's an easy A from me. I think both Tom's top picks will do really well maybe not the best of the rookie class but I thought OT Darryl Williams was an absolute steal, I think he could be at the top of the league in pancakes by seasons end.

1.32- FS Quandre Diggs- Dallas Cowboys- GM Tom Collins GRADE C
23 tackles, 1 pass deflection, 3 CTHA
Comments:
I'm a huge fan of Diggs and think he'll definitely pick up the pace but as of right now it has to be a little discouraging that he hasn't made much of an impact on the team. He's tops in tackles but nothing much else to show for it, I think he'll finish strong but get's a C for leading the rookie FS in tackles.
