2016 NFC Predictions
By William Cook

NFC East

1. New York Giants
2. Washington Redskins
3. Dallas Cowboys
4. Philadelphia Eagles

Analysis: It seems it's about time for the New York Giants to win the division again as it's been a couple seasons for Romeo. But I do expect the Washington Redskins to be much improved behind new management, but still a year off from consistently winning the division. The Dallas Cowboys will have to take notice as a 9-7 season won't be enough anymore. And the Philadelphia Eagles are still last....you don't need me to tell you why.

NFC North

1. Chicago Bears
2. Minnesota Vikings
3. Detroit Lions
4. Green Bay Packers

Analysis: I don't expect anyone but the Chicago Bears to compete for this division -- they're the best team and there is no question. Second place I'll tip toward the Minnesota Vikings as they seem about one year from their next dynasty run. The Detroit Lions could have been in contention but they decide to regress and turn Sam Bradford into Teddy Bridgewater for some reason. Last place is the Green Bay Packers. They had a good run last year, but I firmly believe they overperformed.

NFC South

1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
2. Carolina Panthers
3. Atlanta Falcons
4. New Orleans Saints

Analysis: I always hate putting Bryan Mellon first, but this Tampa Bay Buccaneers roster will do just fine. Second place is likely the Carolina Panthers, as they have a consistent, but not dominant team. I worry that the Atlanta Falcons missed their window with Manning and are now stuck with Bortles. And the New Orleans Saints are still rebuilding, but a couple of pieces away from domination.

NFC West

1. San Francisco 49ers
2. Seattle Seahawks
3. St. Louis Rams
4. Arizona Cardinals

Analysis: The slander can be thrown in the direction of the champion San Francisco 49ers, as they have to be the favorites to win this division. I do think the Seattle Seahawks will push them for most of the season however. Third place I put the St. Louis Rams, who with some good coaching could find themselves fighting for the wild card. Last place is the Arizona Cardinals who are still rebuilding.

NFC Playoff Seedings

1. San Francisco 49ers
2. New York Giants
3. Chicago Bears
4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
5. Seattle Seahawks
6. Washington Redskins
