My favourite part of the calendar is the draft. I, like many others, will pore over the draft class, pore over my roster, who is a free agent, who is nearing regression.

Analysis - Kittle is a phenom but went roughly where expected. Hendrickson, IRL a DE - and a bloody great one - would have been a fantastic edge rusher in SFL but I digress. His size, speed and explosiveness are unheard of. Sure, being 23 is a negative but 7 years of this freak captaining your defense? Yes please.

Analysis - Jackson was a great pick at 5. To pick up a starting calibre guard - with such great attributes - with pick 96 - is astounding value. Dawkins should become an all-pro - can maul defensive linemen and get to the next level.
