My favourite part of the calendar is the draft. I, like many others, will pore over the draft class, pore over my roster, who is a free agent, who is nearing regression.
I thought it would be fun to review each team's draft class and my favourite selection.

Analysis - It's a shame Tom has such a great knack of picking up defensive tackles. Both Adams and Ogunjobi were great selections - Ogunjobi at 226! Both are starting quality. My favourite pick is a lineman - and not the one you might expect. Bolles was a great pick but McDermott, at 67, was great value. A huge man with fantastic attributes - yes he's 23 but has decent awareness and technique. Very nice.

Analysis - Myles Garrett is a monster but was expected to go top 3. I'd scouted White. I was going to pick him at 7 then Golladay fell. People will say he's 5-11 but he has 93 jump (again, does it matter). In a fantastic CB class, he was a top 10 lock for me.

Analysis - Beckwith was a great pick. Johnson at 3.1 was great value. The Chiefs picked up a lot of talent. Most of all I liked Douglas. 6-1 - yes, he's 23, but he has all the tools to be a lockdown corner. I love the 6-1 size and 95 jump. I also liked him coming out IRL, a very good player.

Analysis - Humphrey was a slam dunk but Williams exhibits all the traits I seek in a receiver - tall, fast, explosive. Does the 29 strength matter? I guess we will find out but I don't think it will. I preferred Golladay, truth be told, but it was such thin margins, as I do think strength plays a part.
