2018 SFL MOCK DRAFT V2.0 (YOU'LL TAKE WHO I GIVE YOU AND LIKE IT MOCK!)

1.1- New Orleans Saints- WR D.J. Chark Jr.- LSU (Previous Pick: WR D.J. Chark)
All signs point to Chark as the #1 overall pick, His size (6'4" 198 lbs.), 64 AWR, 87 CTH and freakish athletic ability make him the clear cut choice and will give whoever will be the QB in New Orleans a legit threat to take it to the house whenever he catches a pass. He should come in right away and be the WR1.

1.2- Green Bay Packers- QB Sam Darnold- USC (Previous Pick: CB Charvarious Ward)
This to me is an obvious move to land a stud and future franchise QB Sam Darnold. He has excellent size for the position at 6'4" 225 lbs, excellent starting football AWR depending on his skew, a cannon for an arm with 99 THP and very accurate right out of the gate with 85 THA and as an added bonus he's only 20 years old. Darnold won't have to come in right away and start as the Packers have traded for former Bengals QB Isiah Stanback.

1.3- Buffalo Bills- WR Courtland Sutton- SMU (Previous Pick: WR Courtland Sutton)
I'm sticking with Sutton here, like Chark he's a difference maker on the outside for Buffalo opposite of WR Taylor Price. Another 6'4" 216 lbs. monster with excellent ahleticism, great football IQ, excellent hands and is even a year younger than Chark. I'd assume Price will be WR 1 at least for this season but either way the Bills get a great player.

1.4- Chicago Bears- RB Nick Chubb- Georgia (Previous Pick: RB Nick Chubb)
Chubb is still my choice for the Bears here who is a combination of size at 5'11" 240 lbs, he will also use his 86 STR and 94 BTK to bust through opposing teams defenses with ease. He has enough athletic ability to take it to the house on any given sunday but he wont have to come in year 1 and start since they already have veteran Alex Green on the roster.

1.5- Cleveland Browns- CB Charvarius Ward- Middle Tennessee State (Previous Pick: CB Carlton Davis)
I still have the Cleveland Browns taking a CB here but this time Ward falls to them. Ward is an exceptional athlete which is definitely lacking on the Browns roster at CB, he also has the size at 6'1" 196 lbs. that GM's drool over, his ball hawking ability is top notch, he will contest for jump balls very easily and is an elite tackler who will start immediately. Pair him with the young Walt Aikens to form a solid dup in the secondary for years to come.

1.6- Green Bay Packers- CB Carlton Davis- Auburn (Previous Pick: QB Sam Darnold)
With the franchise signal caller selected at 1.2 now the Packers can focus on difference makers on their roster and I see an opening at the CB 2 spot opposite of Baptiste. I think Carlton Davis is the next best CB depending on skew of course at 6'1" across from the 6'2" Baptiste. Besides his size he's an athletic freak with 99/99/99 potential plus elite JMP, solid hands and an above average tackler.

1.7- Kansas City Chiefs- SS J.T. Gray- Mississippi State (Previous Pick: SS J.T. Gray)
This just makes sense to me and could end up being one of the most athletic S the SFL has ever seen. His football AWR (64) is very good, he's an elite ball hawk (75), elite JMP (91) skills and an elite tackler (79) who should start immediately. The unfortunate part is that he'll be going to a division rival so we'll definitely be aiming for the knees.

1.8- Denver Broncos- DE Bradley Chubb- Ohio State (Previous Pick: CB J.C. Jackson)
The Broncos add Chubb to fortify the DL, Chubb at 6'4" 269 lbs can play in any scheme fit especially with his 88 STR which should give him no troubles shedding tackles to get to QB's and RB's alike and has the athletic ability you look for depending on the workout of course. Chubb should start immediately over Margus Hunt who doesn't seem to be a difference maker at the position.

1.9- Seattle Seahawks- DE Sam Hubbard- Ohio State (Previous Pick: DE Josh Sweat)
Sam Hubbard at 6'5" 270 lbs. can play in any scheme fit just like Chubb above, he has excellent athleticism 81 SPD, 86 AGI and 80 ACC. Hubbard also has great STR (88 ) that will allow him to shed tackles and the closing speed to get to both QB's and RB's but again all this will depend on the private workouts. The Seahawks have a bunch of slow or aging players especially on the right side of the DL.

1.10- New England Patriots- TE Mark Andrews- Oklahoma (Previous Pick: TE Mark Andrews)
Andrews gives QB Derek Carr another large weapon to throw to at 6'5" 254 lbs., He could be the fastest TE in the SFL with a positive skew 92 SPD/81 AGI/88 ACC, he has some of the best hands coming out of college (86) that I've ever seen. The Patriots do have Jordan Cameron already at the position but he never really lived up to his draft expectations.

1.11- Indianapolis Colts- OL Brian O'Neill- Pittsburgh (Previous Pick: S Jessie Bates)
O'Neill is a stud OL who could play virtually anywhere along the OL and be a plug and play starter. He's 6'7", kind of light in the loafers at 297 lbs but has some of the quickest feet in the draft that you'll ever see. He already comes SFL ready as an elite pass blocker to go along with his above average run block. Oh and as an added bonus he plays for Brecks favorite team in that other league we dont like to mention.

1.12- Tennessee Titans- WR Tre'Quan Smith- USF (Previous Pick: TE Dallas Goedert)
Smith is 1 of my favorite prospects in this class, he isn't the big body like Chark or Sutton but he's a solid all around player. At 6'2" 203 lbs he comes with plenty of pure speed off the line and excellent closing speed once he's in the open field nobody is catching him with solid hands, as a bonus he can return kicks and punts. The Titans added Nelson in FA but Smith would be a welcomed addition.

1.13- San Francisco 49ers- J.C. Jackson - Maryland (Previous Pick: OT Brian O'Neill)
Jackson may not have the height that all the GM's prefer but all the other attributes are top notch. He has elite athletic ability, above average ball hawk skills, excellent starting football IQ, above average JMP for contested catches and already comes as an elite tackler right out of the gate. Corners Allen and Haden can hold the fort while while Jackson learns as the NCB.

1.14- Atlanta Falcons- TE Dallas Goedert- South Dakota State (Previous Pick: DE Bradley Chubb)
The Falcons lack a difference maker at the tight end position, Dallas Goedert is 6'5" 256 lbs, He has elite speed, elite closing speed able to burn secondaries once he gets into the open field, his hands are also above average which makes him an immediate starter right from the get go. I just don't see a difference maker at the position for the Falcons at TE so I feel he can come in and be that guy.

1.15- Denver Broncos- RB Ronald Jones II- USC (Previous Pick: CB Jaire Alexander)
Ronald Jones is a solid back, he has good size for the position at 6'0" 200 lbs., enough athletic ability to take it to the house, he should be able to handle the heavy load as the every down back right away. His BTK is elite and his STR is above average which will let him evade tackles with ease, hopefully not our tacklers though. Laughing Denver lost Demarco Murray in FA and nobody that I see is an every down back or at least should be on the roster.

1.16- San Diego Chargers- RE Josh Sweat- Florida State (Previous Pick: QB Mason Rudolph)
Besides the AFC West who wouldn't want to see Josh Sweat terrorizing QB's with Myles Garrett on the other side? He offers above average speed, elite closing speed, he's also got excellent starting AWR and above average tackling as well and could start immediately. The Chargers have a few players at DE but I doubt they're too thrilled with 3 sacks from Lewis-Moore.

1.17- Washington Redskins- SS Jessie Bates- Wake Forest (Previous Pick: FS Minkah Fitzpatrick)
Bates has all the intangibles to be an elite safety and should start from day 1. He comes with elite athleticism, he's a ball hawk and an excellent tackler who should make a solid impact in year 1. He also has elite JMP which will allow him to contest for catches. The only SS on the roster right now is 29 year old, 5'11" Michael Thomas so I think there is a need there.

1.18- Pittsburgh Steelers- FS Minkah Fitzpatrick- Alabama (Previous Pick: OT Martinas Rankin)
The Prodigal son returns! There is a roster opening for a starting FS and Fitzpatrick could come in and start right away. He has great athletic ability, top notch football IQ, and an elite tackler. I may be biased but he's definitely 1 of my favorite players in this draft and fits BPA at a position of need.

1.19- New England Patriots- WR D.J. Moore- Maryland (Previous Pick: DE Sam Hubbard)
Moore is a solid prospect, he doesn't have the height that most GM's look for but he makes up for it with athletic ability, his speed and acceleration will allow him to take even a screen pass to the house. He has excellent starting football IQ and above average hands. The Pats have WR's Brian Quick and Victor Cruz who are both top notch players but not much after that, Moore could definitely stretch the field and play the slot in year 1.

1.20- Tennessee Titans- QB Josh Allen- Wyoming
This may be a bit of a fall for Allen but it will obviously depend on his private workout. Allen is the prototypical QB at 21 years old, 6'5" 240 lbs, excellent starting awareness, a howitzer for an arm but is lacking in the accuracy department. The Titans can work with him and hone his craft better than most. Adding Andrew Luck is a nice insurance policy but now they need a developmental plan in place.

1.21- Cincinnati Bengals- OLB Tremaine Edmunds- Virginia Tech (Previous Pick: CB Denzel Ward)
Edmunds is an absolute stud and he could go even higher but it's hard to find the right situation for linebackers. He has tremendous speed and elite closing speed. He's an elite tackler who will come in and start right away for the Bengals. The Bengals do have ROLB Brandon Hepburn but he hasn't been much of a difference maker most of the time.

1.22- Kansas City Chiefs- LB Dorian O'Daniel- LSU (Previous Pick: LB Dorian O'Daniel)
I still have O'Daniel here for the Chiefs, he's another elite LB like Edmunds above. He'll be a difference maker with his elite pass rushing ability and also the ability to catch the RB behind the line of scrimmage but he'll have to work on his TAK. Dorian just has to beat out OLB Brandon Marshall who was a backup last season.

1.23- Baltimore Ravens- RB Phillip Lindsay- Colorado (Previous Pick: LB Tremaine Edmunds)
The ravens don't really have many flaws on the roster but he could use some depth behind RB Wells. Lindsay is a bit undersized for the position but he's lightning fast, a great catcher out of the backfield, his CAR and BTK are borderline elite which gives him the ability to start if need be.

1.24- Minnesota Vikings- WR J'Mon Moore - Missouri (Previous Pick: CB Dane Cruikshank)
The Vikings could add to the WR room where there are some solid players but I think at the very least Moore could come in and take over the slot WR spot. He's a big dude at 6'3" 205 lbs., unreal athlete who should have no issue blowing past defenders. Streeter is probably penciled in at the #1 WR spot so Moore could play opposite him or in the slot year 1.

1.25- St. Louis Rams- OT Martinas Rankin - Mississippi State (Previous Pick: LB Shaquille Leonard)
Rankin has all the tools to be an anchor along the OL for years to come, he's super quick on his feet, he doesn't have brute strength but he's definitely above average plus he has elite pass blocking to go along with above average run blocking which should allow him to start from day 1. I'm not sure the Rams view Adam Bisnowaty as a starting LT, if not Rankin would be a solid option.

1.26- Tampa Bay Buccaneers- CB Denzel Ward- Ohio State (Previous Pick: OG Will Hernandez)
This seems like a perfect fit for Ward, his AWR is off the charts for a corner prospect but he lacks elite speed/burst, he also has elite CTH and wont have to start right away. He'll have time to sit back in Tampa as a NCB in year 1 while he progresses. Houston-Carson and Slay are the penciled in starters but with a positive skew Ward could be a very solid NCB for them.

1.27- New Orleans Sanits- DE Marcus Davenport - UTEP (Previous Pick: WR J'Mon Moore)
The Saints defensive DL is getting a bit long in the tooth, Davenport has brute strength which should allow him to get passed OL and get to the QB. He also has elite closing speed that will allow him to get to the runningback. LE Carlos Dunlap just turned 30 and had his worst statistical season of his career this past season so time is not on his side.

1.28- New York Jets- OT Brandon Parker- North Carolina A&T (Previous Pick: RB Ronald Jones II)
Parker could be a solid OL for the Jets who don't really have any real immediate needs. He's a giant at 6'8" 305 lbs., has unreal STR and surprisingly agile for a guy of his stature, he also comes with above average pass and run blocking whcih will allow him to 1 day become the starter. The Jets traded for RT Anthony Castonzo but he's been only average the past few seasons in Miami but they did have a young QB for a few years so you never know.

1.29- Cincinnati Bengals- SS Terrell Edmunds- Virginia Tech (Previous Picks: S Terrell Edmunds)
Edmunds is another S with elite athletic ability in this class. The Bengals have an open spot at S and he could come in and start right away. He has the perfect size at 6'1" 217 lbs. plus he's an above average tackler. There is nobody currently at the SS position so I'm sure if Edmunds is the pick they'd be ecstatic to land him here.

1.30- Pittsburgh Steelers- ILB Roquan Smith- Georgia (Previous Pick: DE Marcus Davenport)
The Steelers fill some depth behind Frank Zombo with future stud Roquan Smith. He's athletic, has elite strength to shed tackles with ease, great AWR , he'll be able to drop back into coverage and to top it off he's almost an elite tackler. Last year either Frank Zombo was injured or a backup so I figured depth or a starter there made sense.

1.31- Dallas Cowboys- OT Geron Christian- Louisville (Previous Pick: WR Michael Gallup)
It's really almost an art form trying to give some teams prospects who have solid rosters already. I think Christian could 1 day be a bookend OL for the Champs. He has quick feet, his 94 STR is top notch and his pass block is almost elite. After dealing bookend RT Russell Okung to the Titans, some competition for the starting job or at the vert least solid depth along the OL.

1.32- Tennessee Titans- OG Quenton Nelson- Notre Dame (Previous Pick: WR D.J. Moore)
The Titans fill in the starting LG position with Quenton Nelson who has excellent size for the position at 6'5" 330 lbs., not elite athletic ability but definitely no slo9uch either. He has average Pass blcok and elite run block. They'll probably end up moving Okung to LG but he's on the wrong side of 30 so they definitely need some depth there.
