Playoff Predictions - Timmay style!

Brought to you in the colors of the Tampa Bay Bucs, my pick to win the NFC.

NFC Predictions - Wild Card Weekend
The Minnesota Vikings at the Washington Redskins

The defending champs against the team with the current longest win steak in the SFL....

Both teams come in healthy. Both teams come in on win streaks. These two teams did not play each other but had a similar opponent at the end of the season... the Chicago Bears. In week 15, the Vikings went to Chicago and lost 14-16 despite Tyler Wilson going for 212 yards and 1 TD. The stats between the Vikings and Bears were very similar with the Vikings going for 295 yards while the Bears gained 297. Neither team had a turnover.

Then in week 16, the Redskins went to Chicago and blew the Bears doors off 38-14. Keith Wenning threw for 220 yards but threw 4 TDS with James Conner running for 1. On defense, they held Erik Ainge to only 173 yards with 2 TDs and a pick. Overall the Redskins gained 526 yards to the Bears 221.

This game is in Washington and I think they are going to get their 7th win in a row. This means I am predicting both Super Bowl teams from 2018 are out in the first round.

************My prediction here: Washington Redskins 31, Minnesota Vikings 14************

Dallas Cowboys at St. Louis Rams

This one is all about quarterback play with the Cowboys Mike Glennon being out. The Cowboys Paxton Lynch versus the Rams John David Booty. Why Booty? When the Rams needed a win, they made a Booty call and I think it continues into the playoffs.

This is tough because there really is not a common game. For the Cowboys there is pre-Glennon injury and post-Glennon injury. The offense since the Glennon injury: 301, 123, 490, 119, 249, and 284 total yards. Other than the 490, those are Bronco numbers!

I gotta go with the home team again and the St. Louis Rams.

************My prediction: St. Louis Rams 17, Dallas Cowboys 14************

NFC Predictions - Divisional Weekend

Washington Redskins at Chicago Bears

The Bears have a bye week to get Patrick Mahomes out of his funk and ready to play the NFC East Champs. Needs his brother to make a new TikTok video and maybe get arrested.

These two teams played in week 16 in Chicago with the Bears at full strength... and the Redskins manhandled the Bears 38-14.

I think it happens again in the playoffs and the Redskins win streak continues.

************My prediction: Washington Redskins 38, Chicago Bears 13************

St. Louis Rams at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Rams are not going to be satisfied with a Booty call this time... The Bucs, even without Ezekiel Elliott, will dominate this game. The Rams are not the top team in the league and they do not have a losing record... these are the only teams that the Bucs lose to this season. The Bucs are dialed in and, especially after the Chicago loss, ready to host the NFC Championship game.

************My prediction: Tampa Bay Buccaneers 41, St. Louis Rams 13************

NFC Predictions - Who goes to the Super Bowl from the NFC?

Washington Redskins at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers

This is going to be an awesome game and I am already ready to see it!!!

Two great 3-4 defenses. Both teams leaning on the run first but with great QBs who can make the timely throw or keep defenses honest with the bomb.

I think this will be an Epic clash... but the home team will pull it out and the Redskins win streak ends so close to the Super Bowl.

************My prediction: Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat the Washington Redskins 31-28************
