Wild Card Weekend over

Analysis: We've learned throughout the years that wild card teams should not be underestimated, so it's always wise to predict a couple of them each season. While I definitely think the
Denver Broncos and
Washington Redskins should win their first round games, I look at both the
Kansas City Chiefs and
New York Giants, and think that they would have the ability to pull off road upsets in the playoffs, especially against opponents that lack depth on their rosters.

Analysis: This is where it's a lot of fun to start picking upsets, because it's all supposition. But in the AFC, I don't see upsets happening. Both the
Indianapolis Colts and
New York Jets are so far ahead of the curve, that I don't see them losing this early in the playoffs. The NFC is different though, as both top seeds are only in their positions because of easier schedules, whereas teams like the
Washington Redskins and
New York Giants will play harder schedules. They might be lower seeds, but I would expect to see them both to win on the road.
Conference Championships over

Analysis: GM Kevin Mullendore has called me the "kiss of death", but he's avoiding the hard truth that I've caused the fall and rise of his MFL team. Here, I feel like the
New York Jets are specifically equipped to knock off Peyton Manning and will do so. But they'll have to share the Big Apple spotlight, as I like the
New York Giants in the playoffs against their Washington rival. Both NYC teams win to set up the "Subway Bowl".
Super Bowl XXXVIII over
Analysis: GM Kevin Mullendore does it again, building a perennial winner out of a no-name QB, in order to bring a Super Bowl trophy to the
New York Jets. This team is solid and has all the makings of a team he would expect to win the table. If they don't, he'll be disappointed -- no matter what he tells you.
