1.1 - Tennessee Titans - LB Karlos Dansby With the recent acquisition of their new QB (deal is pending physical and will be announced shortly) the Titans are in a great position. It?s clear that Karlos Dansby is the best non QB in this draft. GM Cohen is salivating at the thought of having Dansby anchor the Titans defense for the next decade.
1.2 - Dallas Cowgirls - QB Phillip Rivers With Tennessee selecting LB Dansby GM Cook stumbles and almost falls flat on his face as he rushes to the podium to select Rivers who I believe is the best QB in the class.
1.3 - Arizona Cardinals - OT Tyson Clabo With Cardinals selecting QB Carson Palmer in last years draft they have the luxury of taking two of the best non-quarterback prospects in this draft. At 1.3 they select the best lineman in Clabo.
1.4 - Arizona Cardinals - WR Roy Williams With the addition of Claybo to the offensive line GM Richardson adds the best WR in the class to help Palmer. Nice new weapon which should help Palmer continue his development.
1.5 - Jacksonville Jaguars - QB Eli Manning With the way the draft has gone so far the Jags must be Thrilled. They get a top QB without having to trade assets and move up.
1.6 - Detroit Lions - QB Ben Roethlisberger Detroit have been vocal with their love for ?Big Ben?. With this pick Detroit gets a QB who many feel is the top QB in this draft. Might need some AP points to change tendencies but that doesn?t seem to be a deterrent to Detroit. Ben should be a franchise QB giving the Lions a cornerstone for the next 10-12 years.
1.7 - Minnesota Viqueenss- RB Michael Turner Michael ?The Burner? Turner is the first RB off the board and goes to the Viqueens. Some think this spot is where Steven Jackson goes but I think Turner is the pick here.
1.8 - Chicago Bears - LB Teddy Lehman Chicago add a stud to their LB core pairing Lehman with perennial pro bowler Brian Urlacher and Rosevelt Colvin. The monsters of the midway indeed!
1.9 - Chicago Bears - RB Steven Jackson Da Bears strike again. This time they add RB Jackson. While he lacks top end speed, at 6?1 241lbs it is gonna take more than one defender to take him down.
1.10 - New Orleans Saints - RT Robert Gallery At 6?7 323lbs Who Dat Nation gets an anchor for their offensive line. Gallery is as strong as they come and his AWR is good enough to start immediately. He will be a force to reckon with for a long time.
