Rushing to Judgment- Who has the best offense in the NFC East?It was an absolutely crazy offseason all around the SFL. I can?t remember an offseason with so many big, big trades as this one. A lot of these crazy moves for big time players were made within the SFL NFC Eastern division. Let?s take a look at the offensive side of each NFC Eastern division team:

Even though the division is home to veteran star QB?s like Steve McNair of the Washington Redskins, Donovan McNabb of the Philadelphia Eagles, and Jake Plummer of the New York Giants there was also quite a bit of noise within the division this year when it comes to rookie QB?s as well. The Dallas Cowboys sucked enough last year (and the year before, but who?s counting?) to be in play for one of the ?Big Three? rookie QB?s in Phillip Rivers, Eli Manning and Big Ben Roethlisberger. In the end it was Big Ben drafted by the Cowboys with the 2nd pick in the draft. The Giants also drafted a QB early in Matt Schaub. Schaub was taken by the Giants with the 16th pick in the first round of the draft. Nowhere near the caliber of Big Ben or Schaub, the Redskins also drafted a rookie late in the 7th round, Jon Navarre. Navarre had an absolutely dream of a skew earning +2 AWR, +2 THP and +2 THA plus he?s a balanced QB unlike Roethlisberger, who next year will revert to a scrambler. As odd as it sounds GM Mellon says there?s a chance Navarre takes over for Steve McNair once McNair retires. Getting that out of a late 7th round draft pick could be huge. It?s safe to say these QB?s are going to turn things up a notch in preparations for the interdivision challenges. Let?s take a closer look at each team?s projected 2004 starter:

There?s a lot of season veterans who will get the job done in New York. This is going to be a very interesting season and a very tough division.
