SFL Injuries ? 2nd Installment [NFC]

~ I've thrown in a few ZINGERS... no need to get butt hurt, it's all in good fun! ~

NFC West
Arizona Cardinals: The Arizona Cardinals have been fortunate, 4 injuries spanning 24 weeks? the most notable injury was QB Carson Palmer in 2004 for 5 games.
San Francisco 49ers: The injury bug has been prevalent in the Bay area where the San Francisco 49ers have endured 10 injuries spanning 47 games? the most notable injuries were to QB Jeff Garcia in the 2004 season (2 injuries totally 9 games) ? did this play a part in the 49ers trading away the savvy vet?
Seattle Seahawks: The Seattle Seahawks boast one of the more established training facilities in the SFL and it comes as no surprise the team has only seen 4 injuries spanning 15 games? the most notable injury came in the 2003 season when WR David Tyree was lost for 8 games.
St. Louis Rams: One word sums it up for the St. Louis Rams ? OUCH! Chalk it up to bad luck I guess, the teams has seen 17 injuries spanning a whopping 77 games? can?t list just 1 guy here, WR Torry Holt has been injured 3 times for 21 games, QB Kurt Warner has been injured 3 times for 18 games and HB Marshall Faulk was injured 1 time for 9 games.

NFC East
Dallas Cowboys: The Dallas Cowboys seen 13 injuries spanning 79 games? on the surface that seem horrific, but keep in mind this team was irrelevant the first 2 seasons going 6-26 (and any injuries that had those seasons were to scrubs ? for the most part). If I had to pick a most notable injury, it?d be HB LaDainian Tomlinson who was lost for 3 games last season when the Cowboys were making a playoff push (and missed the party only to see rival Washington Redskins win it all).
Philadelphia Eagles: The Philadelphia Eagles have seen 7 injuries spanning 45 games? 4 of those 7 injuries we farely LONG (7+ games each). The most notable injury, seeing LE Derrick Burgess go done for 7 games in his final season as an Eagle.
New York Giants: Talk about having a Horseshoe up your ass (something I?m sure Ro Mendez is use to)? the New York Giants have only seen 3 injuries, though those injuries have spanned 37 games. Most notable injury would have to be LOLB Dhani Jones during the 11-5 season where he was lost for 7 games.
Washington Redskins: The Washington Redskins have seen 8 injuries spanning 49 games? most notable injury, losing CB Champ Bailey for 9 games (though the team went 7-2 during his absence and eventually won it all).

NFC North
Chicago Bears: The Chicago Bears have seen 8 injuries spanning 26 games? most notable loss, ROLB Rosevelt Colvin for 9 weeks.
Detroit Lions: The Detroit Lions have seen 18 injuries spanning 88 games? Rumor has it, the team has been shipping in drinking water into the training facility from Flint Michigan! The most notable injury was to QB Byron Leftwich, who was selected 2nd overall, in his 2nd (and final) season ? out for 6 weeks.
Green Bay Packers: The Green bay Packers have seen 17 injuries spanning 95 weeks ? serves the cheese eating, beer guzzling, sexual assaulting (Mark Chmura) ingrates right (sorry, I hate the Packers in real life ? though I respect the history/success)! The most notable injuries ? QB Brett Favre has been injured 5 times spanning 31 weeks.
Minnesota Vikings: The Minnesota Vikings have seen 12 injuries spanning 57 games? most notable injury was to QB Daunte Culpepper (2 injuries for 16 games), the first injury (SFL?s inaugural season) ? the team finish that season 2-8 after Culpepper went down.

NFC South
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have seen 14 injuries spanning 91 games ? shocking the team is 27-27 (to date) and the GM finds himself on the HOT SEAT. The most notable injury was self-inflicted, missing the teams 1st round selection in 2003 and then panicking after the fact and taking QB Tony Romo (who is no longer on the team and traded away for a 2nd)? or you could say it?s QB Brad Johnson who has been injured 3 times missing 15 games.
Atlanta Falcons: The Atlanta Falcons have seen 20 injuries spanning an incredible 107 games? the injury rate is giving the crime rate, in Atlanta, a run for its money! The most notable injury, self-inflicted? not changing QB Michael Vicks QB Tendency (FOR FREE) when the opportunity was gifted. Or, if you like? losing QB Trent Green during the close of the 2004 season for 10 games and basically handing the NFC South Divisional Crown over to the Carolina Panthers.
Carolina Panthers: The Carolina Panthers have seen 14 injuries spanning 84 games? most notable injury, the loss of HB Willis McGahee and HB Duce Staley as the eventual NFC South Champs entered the playoffs (forcing the team to start FB AJ Askew at HB).
New Orleans Saints: The New Orleans Saints have seen 7 injuries spanning 46 games? most notable injury, seeing FS Mike Doss injured 2 times for 26 games.
