AWARDEE: Ronnie Brown (TB)
Tampa Bay Bucaneers #30 HB Ronnie Brown has won the SFL 2005 Rookie of the Week Award for his Week 12 performance against the Chicago Bears. Brown becomes the first running back to win the award. Brown got 43% of the votes from the league members beating Jaguars MLB Jordan Beck who got 37% of the votes. Brown's outstanding performance on the field in Bucs first win with Marc Bulger under center against the Bears was something special to account for the award. Thus he deserves to be named our rookie of the week. Can he help saving his GM's job in Tampa by giving the number of wins needed? Time will tell. For now, congrats Ronnie and keep fighting for those Ws, Paul!
