Wild Card Weekend over

Analysis: We have some interesting matchups, the least of which is not the AFC showdown. In the end, I like the
New England Patriots to win that game, as I'm expecting the Jets to sweep the season series. I also like the
Kansas City Chiefs to win a game, setting the stage for more disappointment in Cincinnati. In the NFC, I think the
Detroit Lions are in for a special season and should be a force to deal with, and I'm going to go with the super trendy pick of having Leonard Jones and his
Carolina Panthers win a game in the playoffs.

Analysis: Indianapolis may be back in the playoffs, but Tom Brady and the
New England Patriots are out for blood after losing a heartbreaker in the Super Bowl last year, moving on to the AFC Championship, which will be hosted by the
Cleveland Browns after they handle Kansas City. In the NFC, I'm a big fan of taking lower ranked teams when facing off against division opponents, so that means the
Carolina Panthers knock off the Atlanta Falcons. Additionally, I think the
Detroit Lions will be the more complete team come the playoffs, so they take out Seattle.

Analysis: The
New England Patriots make another run to the Super Bowl, this time upsetting the Cleveland Browns in a game that will likely haunt GM Tom Collins. In the NFC side, the controversial move up for Brandon Marshall pays off and the
Detroit Lions make the Super Bowl after a resounding victory at home.
Super Bowl XLI over
Analysis: Retribution. That will be the theme of the season for the
New England Patriots. Despite some likely hiccups during the regular season, they will win when it counts and bring the first trophy home to New England during the SFL era. As for Detroit, any real life Lion fans should be happy about this, because at least somewhere, in some alternate reality, your team is going to make a Super Bowl. But still, not win it.
