NFC EAST
1. Giants 2. Cowboys 3. Redskins 4. Eagles
Analysis: This will be a pretty tough division this year, but Giants come out on top despite replacing a number of guys. William Cook really capitalized off his #1 pick, and greatly improving his team in the process. With the improved defense and the continued development of the younger players, they're poised to improve significantly. Redskins and Eagles are both solid teams that will be competitive. It wouldn't surprise me if the teams all ended with similar records.
NFC NORTH
1. Lions 2. Vikings 3. Bears 4. Packers
Analysis: The Lions parting with Stroud and Sheppard were big blows, but I believe Brandon Marshall makes this offense extremely difficult to stop. They'll outscore a lot of teams. The Vikings similarly will win shootouts, but I don't know if they'll quite match the 11 wins from a season ago. Chicago is putting together a nice team, but Alex Smith needs another year before he can carry the offense. Green Bay will likely struggle often with Favre on the farm. Who knows, he could come out of retirement!
NFC SOUTH
1. Falcons 2. Panthers 3. Buccaneers 4. Saints
Analysis: Falcons are the only complete team in this division, although I think Carolina puts together a decent season. The Bucs and Saints seem entrenched in rebuild mode this season.
NFC WEST
1. Cardinals 2. Seahawks 3. Rams 4. 49ers
Analysis: This will be a fun division to watch. Arizona is the favorite in my mind, fresh off their Super Bowl win, and their seemingly endless ability to acquire high quality players. Seahawks, although on the hot seat, will make big strides this year as well, saving their GMs job.
