These are purely my opinion.
1) Cleveland Browns
They are on an absolute role. The average margin over victory for the Cleveland Browns is 14. That's two total touchdowns. For those keeping track at home, that's HUGE. There's not really a weakness on the roster is probably on the offensive line. And using the term "weakness" very loosely here. They are all solid across the board, but none are really dominant, particularly at the Tackle positions. The good news for the Browns is having a high 90 AWR Quarterback and getting rid of the ball quickly can offset this "issue".
Oh yeah, they're getting Ronde Barber back soon, too.
2) Washington Redskins
This team will go as Rex Grossman goes. This is far and away the shakiest QB situation of the top 5 teams. However, I find it very hard to imagine the Redskins not making the playoffs and if that's the case, he should be approaching 86-87ish AWR by that point and with that defense and weapons around him, it should be enough to be a serious threat to win the Superbowl. That defense alone, led by perhaps the best secondary in football is good enough to carry them a long way.
3) Cincinnati Bengals
Jon Kitna continues to be one of the most impressive QBs in the league. This team already has a victory over a team that I think is by far and away the favorite to win the Superbowl in Cleveland. The biggest weakness I see on this team is their lack of playmakers. Greg Jennings is their leading receiver and there's nothing that wow's you about him - and now he's hurt. When you look beyond him, they don't have another WR in the top 25(27 to be exact) in receiving yards. Rogers and Lyman are just ... okay. Luckily, you have Kitna at QB and will help that, a lot.
4) Minnesota Vikings
This team has two positions that worry me. First, their cornerbacks are just not that good. They aren't very fast and outside of James, their AWR is lacking, too. Luckily there's two pretty good safeties behind them that are also lacking in speed, but do have elite AWR. The other weakness for me is at RT. They have the world's strongest RT, but he lacks athleticism and has already allowed four sacks and with a QB with as high AWR as Culpepper, that's not good.
5) St. Louis Rams
This was tougher for me to justify because I'm a big fan of elite speed, athletic secondaries and this one leaves a LOT to be desired. However, their top two CBs have really high AWR and while their safeties do absolutely nothing for me in terms of their talent, it's not like safety is a make or break position a lot of the time. Then you look to the other side of the ball and it's a lot easier to justify. There's just too much talent to not be competitive in the playoffs.
