On the Hot Seat Brad Barber - LionsThough the Lions made the playoffs last year, 2006 was a constant stream of complications and has led to GM Barber being back on the hot seat. In an increasingly tough conference, Barber will need to pull out some new tricks.
Gary Cohen - Tennessee TitansA playoff birth last year kept Cohen's job intact, but after a disappointing 2006 season, the fans in Tennessee are once calling for a change in management. If Cohen is to save his skin again, he'll need to bring in big names....again.
William Cook - Dallas CowboysA midseason slump cost the Cowboys a playoff spot, but a .500 or better record is enough for Dallas ownership to give Cook one more year to right the ship -- unfortunately, it likely means it's playoffs or bust for America's Team in 2007.
Wade Pearce - Houston TexansA couple seasons ago the Texans looked like up and comers, but they have quickly regressed leading to Wade Pearce's spot on the hot seat. The team has talent, but it needs to perform better next year to prevent a new GM from taking over.
Safe for Now Nathan Jones - New Orleans SaintsEarly in the season, the Saints looked poised to make a miracle run to the playoffs. They sputtered out, but it's enough to keep GM Nathan Jones safe for now and give him a couple more years to figure out the David Greene experiment.
Contract Extended 2+ Years Tom Collins - Cleveland BrownsAfter losing the opening two games of the season (including a shocking lost to the Saints), things did not look good in Cleveland. Since then, however, they have won all but one of their games, securing a playoff spot. They responded by extending Tom Collins' GM contract.
Rock Hewko - Seattle SeahawksA lot of jokes were made about whether Seattle's GM was even aware of his being on the hot seat. It's not more obvious than not that he just didn't care -- his plan was to win regardless of the consequences and the Seahawks have done just that.
Brandon Lindgren - Buffalo BillsIt's been an exciting year for the Buffalo Bills and what was starting to look like a "failed experiment" in rookie GM Brandon Lindgren has turned into a division title and the Bills' first playoff birth in SFL history. Quite the turn around and one that Lindgren should be incredibly proud of.
