Breck's Week 7 Predictions
By Darryl Breckheimer
Special to sfl-football.com

Week 1 = 12-4
Week 2 = Off for the Holidays
Week 3 = 10-6
Week 4 = 11-3
Week 5 = 10-4
Week 6 = 6-7
Overall = 49-24

Here's how week 7 looks!

ARI [4-2] @ WAS [3-2]? I'll take the Cardinals.
The 2nd ranked Offense (led by QB Carson Palmer) vs the 3rd ranked Defense (led by CB Champ Bailey)... Cardinals make it 4 in a row.

ATL [2-4]@ NO [4-1]? I'll take the Saints.
The surprising Saints are heavily favored... not even the curse of the Sports Illustrated cover (QB David Greene) can stop this team from marching this week.

BAL [4-2] @ BUF [3-2]? I?ll take the Bills.
I could see this being a low scoring, boring, affair... home field and a Vet signal caller ends up being the difference as the Bills roam to victory.

MIN [4-1] @ DAL [4-2]? I?ll take the Cowboys.
Injuries to KEY players (QB Culpepper, MLB Henderson & CB Bly) hurts the visiting team, Cowboys avoid a 3 game skid.

NE [4-2] @ MIA [3-3]? I?ll take the Patriots.
Patriots have the #1 ranked rushing attack and the Dolphins have the 31st ranked rushing defense - I smell trouble for the BEACHED Dolphins.

SF [2-3] @ NYG [0-6]? I'll take the 49ers.
The Giants are bound to win eventually, but not this week... QB Kyle Orton finally gets right and the G-Men stay winless.

TB [1-5] @ DET [3-2]? I?ll take the Lions.
This week, Detroit will restore the ROAR and manhandle the Buccaneers.

TEN [3-2] @ HOU [3-3]? I'll take the Titans.
Newly acquired HB Steven Jackson went off last week... Texans won't be able to contain Jackson and will surrender 100 yards to rusher for the 1st time this season.

KC [3-3] @ OAK [2-3]? I'll take the Raiders.
I still believe in the Raiders, I think a tough schedule has a lot to do with the losing record.

NYJ [4-2] @ CIN [2-3]? I'll take the Jets.
This could be a trap game... but I have to go with the favored Jets (until they show they aren't worthy).

CHI [1-5] @ PHI [2-3]? I?ll take the Eagles.
The Eagles should dominate? with QB Alex Smith & CB Ken Lucas out, both the offense & defense of the Bears is wounded.

STL [3-3] @ SEA [4-2]? I?ll take the Seahawks.
The Rams have been devastated by injury... Seahawks should win this one easily.

PIT [0-5] @ DEN [0-5]? I?ll take the Broncos.
I'll never put my money on a team with a scrambling QB... Broncos win & Steelers pick firmly locks up the 1st overall selection.

IND [3-2] @ JAC [3-2]? I?ll take the Colts.
Typically, any game with the Colts is a track meet... Colts edge the Jaguars at the line.
