X-Factor round 2 is here and now is the turn to talk about AFC North, one of the hardest divisions to predict.
Baltimore Ravens – TE Todd Heap
Ravens are an enigma, is extremely hard to know how the season going to be for them, GM Norbert Huszti have taken steps thinking into the future but his job is on the hot seat. Is a high risk not to invest everything on the present, but at same time he’s doing what is best for the team and not taking selfish decision thinking on his job. With that say there’s multiple players that could be an X-Factor for ravens but I’m taking a safe bet here: TE Todd Heap, I haven’t hide how much I like smart Te’s, those with enough awr for run complex routes and with solid hands for not drop passes, and heap have both. Young QB’s LOVES to throw to safe targets, ravens WR core is dangerous enough for grab the attention of defense and leave Heap 1 vs 1, with that size – speed and football skills, im expecting the best season of his carrer.
Cincinatti Bengals – HB Antonio Pittman
Life after Kitna have been really hard for Bengals. The team took a long shot at draft trying to grab generational talent for the years to come but instead much of them turned into raw prospects with high potential, being a team carried by defense unit that’s probably a non wanted scenario. Anyway I predict Bengals trusting in their run game for win games and giving the drivers key to Antonio Pittman, with an intriguing 97 speed he has the ability to potential long runs, that will result in multiple yards and a high number of TD. Jim sorgi have proven to be a solid QB, sometimes playing way better than his attributes. I consider he can be an X-factor but avoiding to pick QB, so Pittman takes the highway and keep Bengals on the road.
Cleveland Browns – WR Billy McMullen
At the eyes of this editor I don’t really like the lack of blue chips on the Browns, I won’t hide always have wondered how without big names Browns are such a good team, and the answer is simple = GM Tom Collins is probably the GM that best use the 100% of his players, if a player doesn’t work on Browns I would stay away from that player because hardly will work in any other team, maybe is the game-planning / sim skills but somehow Cleveland manage to pull multiple X factor every week. So this pick is complicated, but I’ll take a player just acquired this offseason via trade with Cardinals. Yeah the Cardinals that use 79-79 and that focus strong on pass, Billy have only posted 1 season with 1000 + yards and that was 6 seasons ago!. Browns will change that and McMullen going to have the best season of his carrer. The duo Bellichick – Brady strike again! ….. Sorry, I meant the duo Collins – Rivers
Pittsburgh Steelers – HB Darren McFadden
I can’t really trust in Steelers from what I’ve seen previously, but I think they’ll perform way better than expected, and the same can be say for the offense. Pittsburgh is a team on the rise, GM Tim Miller have done the right calls and he found a gift from Lions last season that helped to keep his job and now being on a good position to repeat and why not think on the playoffs? Yeah I believe if Steelers beat Browns they’re on the drivers seat for the division but that’s an story for another day. Have you watch those aliens movies where the main character swear he was abducted by aliens and that they’re coming?, of course no one believe it and is tagged as crazy, just for find out later in the movie it was true. Well, soon SFL gonna open the eyes and the scramblers are coming. Tim Miller and his genius move will be rewarded, and Steelers offense going to be one of the best of the league, and the player that going to be benified by it is : HB Darren McFadden. Without grab much attention McFadden had a very solid rookie season, and his sophomore season will be even better.
