2010 SFL MOCK DRAFT
1.1- Jacksonville Jaguars- WR Dez Bryant- Oklahoma State
Dude is a complete stud, his STR and JMP are 2 attributes I don't value as much as other GM's , he has game changing SPD, ACC and has some of the best hands in this draft class.

1.2- Cincinnati Bengals- CB Jerome Murphy- USF
The Bengals get an absolute stud at CB, don't think for a second that Murphy was not in the mix for 1.1 but in the end we went a different route. He will play opposite of Dunta Robinson to form a solid duo in the secondary.

1.3- Dallas Cowboys- LT Russell Okung- Oklahoma State
The Boys have a pretty solid all around roster but I see an opening at LT and stud Russell Okung would fill in very nicely. He has it all, athletic ability, STR, football IQ and already comes as a borderline elite pass and run blocker who can anchor the line for years to come.

1.4- Atlanta Falcons- LE Carlos Dunlap- Florida
I really think GM Nic St. Marie was hoping for CB Murphy here as he traded the mother load to get this pick but still lands a hell of a player in Dunlap who at least in my eyes is the best DE in this class with size, SPD, ACC he should get to the QB regularly.

1.5- Indianapolis Colts- WR Brandon LaFell- LSU
LaFell would come in right away and be the WR 1, he's everything GM's in this league covet with great size at 6'3" 209 lbs., excellent SPD, ACC, decent hands and as an added bonus he can return kicks which should instantly make Mark Sanchez' life easier.

1.6- Carolina Panthers- LT Trent Williams- Oklahoma
I have the Panthers taking stud OT Trent Williams, he can convert him to LT without penalty this season and fixes a major hole in that OL. Williams has a blend of size, SPD, STR and already comes as an almost elite blocker in both the run and pass, he shouldn't have any problems anchoring that OL.

1.7- Cincinnati Bengals- ILB Pat Angerer- Iowa
The Bengals now get the QB of the defense with the selection of Pat Angerer who is 1 of my favorite players in this class. He isn't the biggest dude to ever play his position but makes up for it everywhere else. Not only is he fast but also has great burst, STR to shed tackles and can fall back into coverage with ease and is football aware, he's going to be special for sure.

1.8- New Orleans Saints- TE Jermaine Gresham- Oklahoma
This is the perfect spot for Gresham, I look at TE Teyo Johnson's stats over over 800 yards and 8 TD's and can only imagine what a TE like Gresham would do in that type of offense where the TE is the focal point.

1.9- Seattle Seahawks- LOLB Keenan Clayton- Oklahoma
Clayton is the perfect prospect for the Seattle Seahawks and the GM Rock Hewko. Clayton is 1 of the most athletic, strong, can fall back into coverage and comes with solid football IQ off the bat, his only knock is his tackling which can be worked on.

1.10- Detroit Lions- WR Taylor Price- Ohio
To continue the Taylor name in Detroit, the Lions have Reggie Wayne and have Taylor Jacobs as the exclusive rights FA but there is absolute no depth behind that. Price could come in and be a devastating slot WR in year 1 with that blazing SPD and this will also allow him to work on his CTH also.

1.11- San Diego Chargers- CB Akasi Owusu-Ansah- Indiana Of Pennsylvania
Even with Samuel as a match eligible I think CB has to be on San Diego's radar. Owusu might be a solid choice here, I haven't done many private workouts so I have no clue who will skew up more here.

1.12- New England Patriots- RB Ryan Mathews- Fresno State
I don't see many holes on the Pats roster but not only is Ladainian Tomlinson on the trade block but he's regressing plus holds a 10M+ cap hit, Mathews would allow the Pats to not only move on but save some lute also. He is the top back in this draft in my eyes with SPD/Power/elite ACC/he's not much of a pass catcher which is disappointing but he should be a solid runner in the SFL.

1.13- Cleveland Browns- OLB Navorro Bowman- Penn State
The Browns have a heck of a team but as I look at the OLB group they currently have it's really gross. Bowman would instantly give them respectability and could play either OLB spot and upgrade the group. He has size, SPD, STR, Football IQ, burst and Tackling.

1.14- Cincinnati Bengals- WR Demaryius Thomas- Georgia Tech
The Bengals have solidified the defense with both CB Jerome Murphy and ILB Pat Angerer now they give the offense some help with WR Thomas who gives them some size, SPD and some of the best sets of hands in this class.

1.15- Miami Dolphins- TE Rob Gronkowski- Arizona
I went over a bunch of different players including a G but went with Gronk in the end. If anyone could break the starting lineup I think it could be at TE, not sure if he skews up or down but he could come in and start right away. Not only would defenses have to deal with both 6'5" stud WR's now the 6'6" 260 lbs. monster in Gronkowski.

1.16- San Francisco 49ers- RG Mike Johnson- Alabama
The 9ers usually fill the gaps in FA or the draft so I'll go Mike Johnson here as he looks like a solid OG in this class and should no problems keeping Kyle Orton upright as he offers size, SPD, STR and almost elite blocking in both the run and pass ight out of the gate.

1.17- Jacksonville Jaguars- DT Terrance Cody- Alabama
Cody is a beast at 6'4" 365 lbs. he's sure to wreak havoc in the middle of our DL. His STR isn't what we prefer so we'll need that to stay the same or skew upwards but everything else is what we covet.

1.18- Minnesota Vikings- FS Kam Chancellor- Virginia Tech
The Vikings are an interesting team draft wise as they don't have hardly any holes on the roster and FS certainly isn't one but can GM Neal Wintermute really pass on a player like Kam? He is huge at 6'3" and can keep up with anyone pretty much in the secondary, these are the kinds of players he drools over.

1.19- New York Jets- WR Marc Mariani- Montana
The Jets have no holes that I can see other than depth at this point and not that the Jets don't have good players at the position I just think they could shore it up a bit and Mariani is over 6', has the SPD, ACC, CTH, JMP that GM's covet so I think it makes sense here.

1.20- Tennessee Titans- RG Mike Iupati- Idaho
The Titans don't have much cap room so it looks like they'll fill roster spots through the draft, Iupati has elite pass and run blocking right off the bat, not the fastest feet in the class but has decent STR, AGI and ACC to go along with the blocking.

1.21- Cincinnati Bengals- RT Jared Veldheer- Hillsdale
At this point I think the Bengals just go BPA and start filling some holes for roster depth and Veldheer would be an excellent backup behind Tropag . He's 6'9" 323 lbs. strong, agile and can block.

1.22- Dallas Cowboys- WR Arrelious Benn- Illinois
The Cowboys made the right move taking stud LT Okung with their top pick and now get a solid WR prospect in Benn and another awesome target for Mcnabb to throw to.

1.23- Carolina Panthers- WR Eric Decker- Minnesota
Carolina traded their #1 WR to rival TB Buccaneers and fill in his spot with Eric Decker who seems to have all the traits to be a #1 guy with , unbelievable SPD, ACC and decent hands to go along with his JMP should be a top target this season.

1.24- Cleveland Browns- CB Joe Haden- Florida
The Browns have a few players at the position now and although this isn't a massive need I think depth at the CB is incredibly important and Haden is an excellent all around player and one of my favorite prospects from this class that I think skews upwards.

1.25- Detroit Lions- QB Sam Bradford- Oklahoma
He could go much earlier or could be pushed out of the 1st round, hell he could go to me at 1.1 but in this mock draft Bradford falls to the Lions and I think they'd welcome him as the backup for now until he can get some development in as the heir apparent to QB Aaron Brooks.

1.26- Oakland Raiders- WR Victor Cruz- Massachusets
Now we start getting into teams that have almost no holes and they just fill in with solid depth players which I think Victor Cruz is. He's blazing fast with great hands and excellent JMP.

1.27- Chicago Bears- FS Eric Berry- Tennessee
This is where I think the great FS start to go not because of their talent but the position sometimes doesn't equate but there are a bunch who could be just too hard to pass up as Berry is one of the fastest in the SFL.

1.28- New Orleans Saints- WR Dezmon Briscoe- Kansas
Briscoe is another one of the solid WR in this class and another big target for Greene to throw to with plenty of SPD ACC, decent hands and excellent JMP.

1.29- Baltimore Ravens- FS Nate Allen- USF
Ed Reed is getting long in the tooth so Allen can sit a year or 2 and wait in the wings, learning from one of the best in the business. Allen is one of the top S in this class with SPD.ACC, AWR and JMP.

1.30- Arizona Cardinals- ILB Sean Lee- Penn State
Lee will backup Terry who will wait in the wings a few years until finally taking over the reigns or will be a solid addition in a 3-4 scheme. he isn't huge but has the SPD, ACC, STR, AWR and TAK to be a factor.

1.31- Detroit Lions- CB Kevin Thomas- USC
The Detroit Lions just spent 2 first round picks on corners last season but they could definitely use a NCB. He has SPD, ACC, height on his side.

1.32- Washington Redskins- RT Vladimir Ducasse- Massachusetts
The Football team get a solid OL in Ducasse at 6'5" 323 lbs and probably the most athletic OL in this draft class, he's older that why he fell in my mock but someone could definitely scoop him up earlier. This would be a heck of a haul for the champs.
