Week 1 Predictions:
Saints at Packers - Packers Win
A visit to the Lambeau is never easy, i do like more Saints QB and they come as the favorite for this game, but consider Matt Ryan will be able to prevail with the support of his defense and rush game.
Steelers at Ravens – Ravens Win
A divisional game in the AFC North is a coin toss, i’ll pick Ravens because they’re the home team and they’ve found success in last 2 season. Also i trust more in Thigpen than in Vick
Bengals at Browns – Browns Win
Another divisional game in the AFC North, and another time i’ll pick the safe side and go with the home team, Bengals have a ton of potential but doesn’t consider are as ready as Browns. Ian debut with a win in Cleveland
Colts at Texans - Colts Win
First away team to get a win, and also first win for GM Daryll. Colts had maybe the best offseason and Texans just started a rebuild process. So anything can happen in divisional game, but picking safe at week 1.
Titans at Jaguars – Titans Win
I do hate to pick my own games, if i don’t pick myself betray the team and if i pick myself is a biased pick, so i’ll try to judge this completely neutral. Jaguars are a more talented team from physical pov and a team with better future. But Titans have more talent for win now, including a better QB.
Falcons at Bears – Bears Win
One of the best games of the week featuring 2 NFC playoffs teams, i guess it depends a loto f which QB start for each team, but overall like Bears a little bit more line per line.
Bills at Chiefs – Bills Win
David Booty return to Bills came as soon as week 1, and he’ll suffer it. I think Bills are a more ready team for win this season, Chiefs have some very interesting Blue Chips and once Booty progress they can be a solid contender
Eagles at Rams – Eagles Win
Im aware im picking against the current champions, but here and in NFL usually teams that reached SB struggle at least first games, Rams had a quiet offseason and i think Eagles start season 1-0
Lions at Buccs – Buccs Win
Bryan is part of the evil empire but also a wonderful GM. In just 2 offseasons he put together a very scary roster, Lions have multiple raw studs that need progression, so going with Buccs for season opening.
Seahawks at 49ers – 49ers Win
Divisional game between 2 hot seat teams, i know very well their roster and gotta say both teams are better than their last season record, but i think 49ers are a little bit better and had a better offseason.
Giants at Redskins – Redskins Win
Romeo traded his 1st round, again, apparentely lost 1st and 2nd overall pick in back to back drafts wasn’t enough for learn the lesson. I predict a bad season in New York and Redskins with that roster just can improve from last season.
Vikings at Chargers – Chargers Win
A surprise pick here, im sure most have Vikings as favorites. But i believe Quinn will have one of those games where he throws 4 TD without an Int.
Panthers at Cardinals – Cardinals Win
I gotta go with my ex team, i think they have a more talented roster than Panthers and also play at home. Panthers always were a complicated match for me while was GM in Arizona so anything can happen.
Cowboys at Jets – Cowboys Win
2 teams that have made big trades between them recently, and 2 teams that usually start seasons slow. I’ll pick Cowboys because being at hot seat, their priority is to win now. Also the 2 best seasons in Cowboys came with Will on the hot seat.
Patriots at Dolphins – Patriots Win
I’ll pick against Dolphins while i can, we’re very soon to see them favorites in every game, for this game i do consider Brady is a better QB than Palmer, and that should give Patriots a better shot.
Raiders at Broncos – Broncos Win
Broncos have a new GM at Tom Collins and made multiple changes during offseason, Raiders are always a dangerous team but at home Denver start season 1-0
