#1 Chicago Bears
The Chicago Bears improved to 3-0 in impressive fashion… beating up on divisional rival Green Bay Packers [44-21]. The Bears boast the 10th overall rushing attack and are allowing just under 18 points a game defensively [ranked 4th] – they should have an easy match-up this week against the Panthers.

#2 Arizona Cardinals
The Arizona Cardinals overcame a deficit walking into the 4th quarter and did so with their backup QB Mark Sanchez… defeating the Seattle Seahawks 40-31. The Cardinals defense is ranked 1st for total points allowed and total yards allowed the Giants and QB Philip Rivers look to change their fortune this week.

#3 New England Patriots
Like a fine wine… that’s how QB Tom Brady ages – after 3 games he’s on pace for his best season as a pro [ranks 1st with QB rating and TD passes]. This week the Patriots face a Raiders team who’s feeling a little salty after letting a game slip through their hands in the final minute last week.

#4 Philadelphia Eagles
The Philadelphia Eagle showed this past week that introducing the team in the Power Rankings was not a mistake… surprisingly, QB Byron Leftwich played mistake free football and had his squad looking LEGIT. This week’s Game of the Week has the 49ers visiting the city of Brotherly Love, you don’t wanna miss it!

#5 New York Jets
The New York Jets have been impressive offensively… but the defense is giving up way too many yards through the air [ranked 32nd]. This week the Jets get right and keep the score reasonably low [Ravens haven’t looked overly impressive thus far].

#6 St Louis Rams
The past two weeks have been close low scoring affairs for the St Louis Rams… but both games resulted in a victory, so that’s good. The defending Super Bowl Champs haven’t found their groove yet so their thankful to be 2-1. It’s a tall task week 4 facing the Washington Redskins – should be a good one!

#7 San Diego Chargers
The Chargers made a BOOTY call… unfortunately, it was a John David Booty call! The Chiefs dominated the time of possession… and to be honest, HB Demarco Murray was the only bright spot for the San Diego Chargers [15 carries for 137 yards and 2 TDs].

#8 Green Bay Packers
Reality check… the Packers still have some work in front of them and QB Matt Ryan still has some development required before he can be counted on. The Packers will need to jump upon HB Adrian Peterson’s shoulders week in and week out to remain in the Power Rankings.

#9 Denver Broncos
The past two weeks have seen the Broncos win close games… and this most recent game had the Broncos dispatching the mighty Tennessee Titans in a shootout [44-41]. The early observation… QB BIG Ben is loving the new scheme in place with GM Tom Collins.

#10 Indianapolis Colts
Is it too early to introduce the Indianapolis Colts to the SFL Power Ranking? The Colts are one of three teams still undefeated… in large part, the leg of K Mike Vanderjagt and an opportunistic defense has the Colts looking impressive. The worrisome side is that QB David Carr has only been able to finish 2 of 3 games.
