2012 Season Week 1 Predictions
By Apolo Shapiro

Welcome to the 2012 season, 32 teams trying their best for get a Paul Criswell at the end of the season.

Indianapolis Colts at New England Patriots

Ouch! Complicated game between 2 AFC playoffs teams, i like a bit more the Colts talent at some positions, but the home field advantadge and Brady over Carr makes me pick Patriots here.

Patriots 34 - Colts 27

Jacksonville Jaguars at Buffalo Bills

SB Hangover and lose QB Delhomme via retirement are 2 very hard things to face vs one of the best young talent cores of the league. Jaguars roar at the start of season.

Jaguars 24 - Bills 13

Baltimore Ravens at Cleveland Browns

Divisional games are always hard to predict and both teams do have similar talent at all lines, i do like a little bit more the Ravens to prevail on kickoff but game looks as a close one.

Ravens 28 - Browns 27

Detroit Lions at Chicago Bears

The current champions vs the team with 1st overall pick, a classic David vs Goliath game, but Lions ride a Ford and run over some bears. The Lions start the season 1-0 with Bears SB Hangover

Lions 35 - Bears 21

San Diego Chargers at Houston Texans

2 Teams that had a difficult 2011 season, both with amazing rush games. A bit early to know how much they improved, but Chargers have a clear advantadge at Quarterback position.

Chargers 42 - Texans 17

Seattle Seahawks at New Orleans Saints

Personally i saw Seahawks as one of the best offenses of the league but losing Stewart they lost the balance that HB Leshoure gives to Saints. I trust more at Alex Smith than in the uncertain QB Saints use.

Seahawks 21 - Saints 17

Tennessee Titans at Miami Dolphins

James Laurinitis have a revenge opportunity after being traded as soon as week 1

Titans 0 - Dolphins 0 (Not picking a winner for my own games, just comment)

Cincinnati Bengals vs New York Jets

2 teams that benched young qb with high potential last season in favor of veterans, Stanback and Woodson seems to have their moment this seaso. Jets defense do the job and take the Win

Jets 17 - Bengals 10

Arizona Cardinals at St. Louis Rams

The most sexy SFL team vs the team that does the job, on this season Rams seems a bit weaker than on past ones, but never understimate them, Rams know how to win games. Cardinals prevail at season kickoff

Cardinals 38 - Rams 21

Oakland Raiders at Pittsburgh Steelers

Raiders have a very unique way of play and they dominate old school football, opposite to the Steelers and the new school football scramblers. Old school wins the match

Raiders 20 - Steelers 10

Tampa Bay Buccanneers at Washington Redskins

The emperor comebacks to the Death Star, this game gotta be very emotional with the return of Bryan to Washington (On the east coast xD). Washington evil times are over, Bill and the light side of the force prevail.

Redskins 35 - Buccs 31

Dallas Cowboys at Minnesota Vikings

Rumors says Will considering the SFL Meetup at Cowboys Stadium so he can talk directly with Jerry Jones about his job, they kickoff season vs a dangerous Vikings than mix present and future. Will might won’t need to visit Jerry and start season with a win.

Cowboys 28 - Vikings 20

New York Giants at Philadelphia Eagles

Big chances this game kickoff the season as is scheduled for spawn, the winner gets the right to trashtalk Cowboys first, and Eagles looks as a more well rounded team so they take the win home

Eagles 45 - Giants 42

Atlanta Falcons at San Francisco 49ers

Falcons have manage to be a consistent playoffs team, but im in love with the potential of the 49ers offense, they have multiple elite weapons and gotta pick them for first game 100%

49ers 38 - Falcons 24

Kansas City Chiefs at Denver Broncos

Chiefs are the 49ers of AFC, they managed to build an scary offensive team and they’ll play a rookie, lefty and scrambler quarterback with 44 spd. Chiefs wins

Chiefs 41 - Broncos 7

Green Bay Packers at Carolina Panthers

The 2007 runningbacks Adrian Peterson and Marshawn Lynch face on the prime of their careers, should be a fun game to watch and dominated by rush offenses. AP is my favorite of them 2 and he leads packers to the win.

Packers 24 - Panthers 21

Good luck on the 2012 season !!!
