Wade Pearce journey at SFL started with the worst overall team of the league, the new franchise Houston Texans had not a great core of players, so he needed to rebuild them via draft doing good picks, or acquiring players via trade at a good price as his assets were limited. And that’s the case of the player picked for him MLB Al Wilson, one of the leaders of his defense during 8 seasons, was acquired paying a relative small price sending a short CB and got back extremely high production he was a machine of tackles, tfl, and ff. GM Pearce had other interesting options as LB AJ Hawk, another incredible linebacker or QB Brian Griese the QB saved his job at Houston, but decided to pick Wilson as is one of the most important players at Texans history.

GM Daryll Breckheimer - TE Gary Barnidge (Drafted 1.6 at 2008 Draft )
To do this exercise with Breck is extremely hard, he have been on 3 different teams and have sucess at all those 3, also he has a very active trade philosophy, so ton of quality players had been on his team, i thought about the posibility of pick that hate-love pimp relationship he had with Eli Manning but at the end decided to go with a player he drafted high, and played well since season 1. I would say Barnidge was one of his favorite players at Eagles, and Eagles were an important team for Breck. Is not weird to see him on discord and being proud of his guy when he has a good game, which happens often, so that’s why Barnidge is the pick for Breck

GM Olivier Ratajczak - WR Dez Bryant (Drafted 1.1 at 2010 Draft)
I won’t lie here, i think this pick should be QB Ben Roethlisberger, but i need to save him for GM Cook, i don’t want Oli to step into that special love relationship GM-Player, so going with option 2, WR Dez Bryant. It’s not really needed to say with words the sucess Bryant had on the first 2 seasons of Oli ahead the Jaguars, and even if he didn’t draft him, well who wouldn’t love to have him on their team? 32 TD and almost 3600 yards is a crazy statline, and he’s only 25 yrs old! . If Bryan keeps this pace he’s called to be one of the best if not the best WR at SFL history, and that might give a ring to GM Ratajczak.

Bazinga! Im picking a player for myself too, and that’s the one everybody know. WR Robert Meachem, my first pick on this league, a player with a huge potential that came with a big big red flag as had low awr and catch. I had literally hours for prepare for that draft, and had 1.8 pick, i went with the guy my gut told me and he never have failed me. Meachem was my favorite player at Cardinals and always going to have an special place at my heart. I was so close to bring him with me to Titans but for x or y reason never happened and at this point of his career i would like to see him retire at Cardinals, my favorite team and one i’ll always going to cheer for.
