By Apolo Shapiro
Special to sfl-football.com

Finally we finish AFC with the GM’s from AFC West

Special Note: All NFC Teams going to come together, when started this series of articles the idea was to keep it clean and easy to read, but don’t want to make 8 post and flood the League Articles forums

GM Tom Collins - TE Rob Gronkowski (Drafted 1.13 at 2010 Draft)

Here im a bit clueless, the way i see GM Collins team building he rely at cores and team work more than at super stars, and he has prove his method work. But i can’t automatic remember a player was key on his scheme, so im using a similar argument to the one used at Ian’s player. TE Rob Gronkowski was drafted by Tom and his first decision as Broncos GM was to trade for him and bring him back to the team. His “Low” production can be explained by playing with a rookie quarterback but Gronk Fiesta is without a doubt an stud and a key player for Tom Collins

Other players considered here: HB Jonathan Dwyer - CB Nathan Jones - QB Philip Rivers - OG Andy Levitre

GM Brad Barber - QB Brian Brohm (Drafted 1.14 at 2008 Draft)

So here im picking a guy Brad hated during some time, and probably the responsible of his fired as Jaguars GM. But behind all those injuries and loses, Brohm represents the legacy Brad left behind at Jacksonville, and what’s more important for a man than his legacy, wins and loses are temporary but Brohm represents the hope for all those GM’s want to develop a QB, on Brad’s case he didn’t have enough time for keep his job as Jaguars GM, but im sure he’s proud of Brian everytime he wins and game, and more time every time don’t see his name at injury reports. The options for Brad were multiple as he had been GM for 4 different teams with his new job at Oakland.

Other players considered here: WR Brandon Marshall - HB Rashard Mendenhall - MLB Jordan Beck

GM William Cook - WR Andre Johnson ( Drafted 1.3 at 2003 Draft)

We all know GM Cook loves QB BigBen even if he don’t want to accept it. But i can’t go with other player not named Andre Johnson here, AJ was the first pick of Will on the league, and lasted years as the leader of Cowboys offense / team, i tried multiple times to acquire him via trade but Will just wouldn’t let his guy to play to another team. As all process eventually he was traded and GM Cook received the same pick he used for draft him in the form of 1.3, that just confirm how valuable and special Andre Johnson was. It’ll be interesting to see who’ll be the first pick as Chargers GM, and that player might become special for William, but the Andre Johnson spot is hard to to take.

Other players considered here: MLB Brian Urlacher - OG Rusell Okung - CB Nate Clemens
