WAY Too Early Mock Draft Part 2 (11-20)
By Phillip Mellon

As I'm typing up up this mock draft, people are trading picks like they're at a swap meet! So, for my sanity I'm sticking with the current draft order as of 8/2/2022 at 11:53 EST.

1.11- Washington Redskins/Commanders- FS Duron Harmon

Duron is a tough player to value. He's essentially ''old but gold'', great athleticism, but he's 24 years old, is the tradeoff worth it? I think so

1.12- St Louis Rams- TE Tyler Eifert

Filling the TE position with someone day 1 ready is a must for the rams, with their TE aging and not having depth, this pick is self-explanatory. Eifert is a complete TE with upsides at every desired attribute field and will make a great addition to the Rams roster

1.13- Denver Broncos- OT Menelik Watson

The Broncos will look to boost their offensive line and give QB Chandler Harnish as much help as he can get, (And boy does he need it) Harnish was sacked 45 times! While that may be due to the fact that Harnish is a Left-Handed, Scrambling, Rookie QB who has about as much athletic ability as Vince Wilfork running the 100-meter sprint, or this offensive line needs help, and thus the Broncos will take the best available Tackle in Menelik Watson

1.14- Arizona Cardinals- QB Matt Barkley

The Cardinals have one of the best true talent rosters so predicting their pick has been the hardest by far, but with QBs Rex Grossman and Dan Orlovsky entering regression, I think the Cardinals to opt for the best QB available to take over once they retire, Barkley reminds me a lot of Kirk Cousins, but with a little bit more athleticism, and not as strong of an arm yet. Overall, the best QB in the Draft this year

1.15- San Francisco 49ers- OT David Bakhtiari

The 49ers are in an almost identical situation as the Cardinals, great roster and they will look to fill in at the LT position as Wharton is in regression and Parnell will follow suit soon. David has all the tools to be a starter for the Niners, although some could argue he's slightly undersized at 299 lbs. For me his skill set trumps the intangibles.

1.16- New England Patriots- ROLB Khaseem Greene

The Pats have a hole to plug on their defense front at OLB as age and talent are the main issues I see and a guy like Khaseem Greene who can supply a good combo of Speed and Intelligence with the second highest AWR with ROLBs. Overall solid addition.

1.17- St Louis Rams- CB David Amerson

The Rams will opt to fill in their team needs and that is a CB and David Amerson is a fast and tall corner who has the capability of being a day one starter in the league.

1.18- Indianapolis Colts- RB Eddie Lacy

The Colts will opt to take best available with this pick and this would be a STEAL! Eddie Lacy is the closest player we have seen who could be compared to Jerome Bettis. Beefy, Quick, Agile, Explosive. His only downfall would be that he's kind of stupid for a Running Back, only thing stopping him from potentially going top 5 is that I would almost guarantee that he will skew down tremendously.

1.19- Jacksonville Jaguars- CB Darius Slay

The Jags will add another young cornerback to compliment Ras-I Dowling, while not possessing elite level speed for a DB, he does possess elite ACC and tackling for a CB, Solid addition to the secondary.

1.20- Chicago Bears- WR Adam Thielen

The Bears are another team that already has a star-studded roster which is hard to predict this pick, I would bet this pick gets traded, but if the bears decide to keep the pick, then I would say they go best available with speedy wide receiver Adam Thielen.
