Trades:

DT Dan William to the Steelers from the Patriots | Williams is a 25 years old big (6’3”, 327) DT who should get an opportunity to start for the Steelers He has great STR at 96 plus good TAK of 86 & ACC of 70. The price was the Dolphins 3rd rd pick in the upcoming draft. I think this was a nice, no risk move by the Steelers.

WR Ted Gin Jr to the Steelers from the 49’ers. Ginn is 30 years old and has began regressing but he still boasts 95 SPD & 95 ACC plus is an explosive KR. Last year he had 2097 KR yards and 4 KR TD’s. I think thi was a smart move by the Steelers. If Ginn can copy his 2012 season the price of the Steelers 4th rd draft pick will be well worth it.

MLB Nate Triplett to th Falcons from the Steelers. Triplett has good size at 6’3” and 247 #. He is only 25 years old and still has 80’s in SPD, STR, AGI & ACC plus 91in TAK. I do not like this deal because I have to play the Falcons twice. It was a fairly low risk move for the Falcons but also helped the Steelers gain a decent pick.

RB Adrian Peterson to the Steelers from the Packers. Okay, I get it, Peterson is regressing but he had 16 TD’s along with 1600 yards rushing last year. The Steelers are going to ride Peterson a lot this year. The cost for this 30 year old superstar RB was the Panthers 3rd and Steelers 3rd rd draft picks. It was not a ton to give up for the Steelers for some solid reinforcement for QB Andrew Luck and also brought in a pair of early 3rd rd draft picks. Both teams are happy here.

QB Michael Vick was sent from the Steelers to the panthers for a paid of 3rd round picks and backup QB Mile Kafka. The Panthers are hoping Vick will get them to the playoffs while the Steelers used part of the proceeds to land RB Adrian Peterson. I would have to say while Phil (Panthers) is happy, Tim (Steelers) is ecstatic as it helped land Peterson.

C Samson Satele was sent from the Steelers to the Bengals for the Bengals 3rd and 4th round draft picks. Satele had a decent past couple seasons totaling 77 pancakes and only 8 sacks. He was drafted in the 5th round of the 2008 draft so the Steelers have to be content getting a couple better picks out of him six seasons later. Satele is very athletic for a center with his 67 SPD, 66 AGI and 74 ACC. He is nearing 90 AWR and already has 90+ in both RBK and PBK.

Ben Roethlisberger sent from the Cardinals to the Jets. The 31 year old Big Ben has plenty left in the tank and will look to get the Jets back to the playoffs. There is no doubt his has the attributes to do it but can he stay healthy. The Jets usually have a great OL which will help with this. Big Ben’s 96 AWR, 89 THP and96 THA are going to wreck havoc with the other AFC Eastern teams. I think Kevin said he would be purchasing a THP boost to get to 90. The Jets send their 2nd rd pick this year and 3rd next year while the Cardinals add their 7th rd pick next year. This is not much to give for a 31 year old QB will start for at least a couple more seasons. Actually, come to think about it, it really is a bargain as long as Big Ben stays healthy.

LE Larry English, fresh off a 7 year contract restructure was sent from the Jets to the Chargers . The Chargers sent pick 1.22 this year as well as the Chargers 2nd rd pick next year while the Jets added their 7th rd pick next year. GM Will Cook of the Chargers is looking to do something GM Tinnin of the Bengals, GM Mullendore nor GM Mellon of the Bucs could do which is to turn English into a superstar. English has amazing attributes including 85 SPD, 77 STR, 84 AGI & 90 ACC.

CB Jimmy Williams was sent from the Jets to the Falcons in exchange for CB Brandon Underwood, SS Michael Thomas and FB Rhett Ellison. Williams will provide great play for the Falcons this year, the final year before he begins regression. He still has 93 SPD, 85 AWR, 90 AGI and 95 ACC.

QB Andre Woodson was sent from the Jets to the Titans for pick 1.18 this year and the Titans 3rd rd pick next year. The Jets are also adding their 2nd rd pick next year. It seems as if GM Apollo of the Titans gave up a lot but perhaps he is banking on the Jets not doing well this year and having a favorable 2nd rd pick next year.

The Dolphins trade their 1st, 4th & 5th picks to the Chargers and GM Cook for the Chargers 2nd and 4th rd picks.

The Jets trade their 1st round pick to the Colts and GM Breck for the Browns 1st rd pick and Panthers 2nd rd pick.

LT Brett Williams was sent from the Broncos to the Texans in exchange for the Cards 3rd rd pick. Williams may be in full regression at 33 years of age but he still has 63 SPD, 91 STR, 70 AGI & 77 ACC to go with 95 RBK & 95 PBK. A 3rd rd pick may seem like a lot of give up but a player like Williams should be worth it, especially when he may be required to help block for a sophomore QB.

WR Jonathan Baldwin was sent to the Titans along with the Packers 1st rd pick for RB Alex Green, the Lions 1st rd pick and the Rams 1st rd pick. Boy, this is a a big, big deal. On paper I can not help but think GM Breck and the Colts came out on top of this one but part of that is because I know GM Apollo had to shell out 500K AP’s for the Diamond in the Rough, RB Alex Green.

RB Alex Green was sent from the Colts to the Bears for the Bears 1st rd pick. While no one can say the Colts made a bad trade here I can not help but think the Bears got RB Green for below market value. This move helped both teams has the Colts were later able to get the RB they wanted while I think the Bears got their new franchise RB to replace Cobbs. Nice move GM Brent of the Bears!

RT Eugene Monroe & WR Brian Quick were sent from the Texans to the Chargers for the #1 overall pick in this draft. The Texans also include their 1st rd pick next year while the Chargers added the 7th rd pick next year. This was another, big, big trade. I think I would have to give the early edge to the Chargers.

The Titans send their 4th rd pick to the Giants for the Chargers 5th rd pick and the Cards 6th rd pick.

The Titans send the last pick in the 1st rd , the Bucs 5th rd pick and L Lavonte David to the Cowboys for their 1st rd pick next year and pick 7.12 this year. This is an interesting pick as I do not think Apollo expect AF to do much with the Cowboys this year while the rest of do. AF, being a natural Bucs fan also gets what I assume is a favorite player of his. Early results probably suggest AF came out on the losing end giving a future 1st for pick 1.32 but we will see how it plays out in the end.

The Titans send QB Kevin Kolb and the Cards 7th rd pick to the Raiders for the Dolphins 1st rd pick. He did it again! Apollo got a 1st rd pick, this time for someone he got at last year’s trade deadline for a 2nd and a pair of 3rd’s. We/I are not made at you Apollo, just jealous. By the way, I do think GM Butler and the Raiders got a pretty good QB in Kolb. Kolb just needs to be able to produce consistently good games.

The Colts send RB Mark Ingram and their 2nd rd pick to the Packers for the Packers 1st rd pick. The Packers and GM Hickman have their replacement for RB Adrian Peterson. This seems like a good deal for both teams.

The Titans send CB Prince Amukamara and their 1st rd pick to the St Louis Rams for the Rams 1st rd pick. Yes, Apollo moves up in the 1st rd. Way to go Apollo. I know you will make a great selection with this pick.

The Texans send WR Mike Williams to the Falcons for the Flacons 4th rd pick. This is a great move by th Falcons, in my opinion at least. Williams is 6’2”, only 26 years old and has 92 SPD, 93 AGI & 94 ACC.

The Colts send veteran QB Charlie Whitehurst (back) to the Bucs for the Giants 3rd rd pick and the Seahawks 3rd rd pick. GM Mellon wanted a low cost veteran to backup sophomore QB Kirk Cousins and believes Whitehurst will be sufficient.

The Jaguars send CB Antrel Rolle and their 2nd rd pick next year to the Chargers for LE Cameron Jordan and the Chargers 7th rd pick next year.

The Colts send the 3rd pick in the draft, pick 5.30 and their future 7th to the Chargers for RB Demarcus Murray, the Chargers 1st rd pick and the Raiders 3rd rd pick.

The Colts send the 20th pick in the draft along with pick 3.14 and their future 5th to the Raiders for the Raiders 1st and 2nd picks next year and [pick 5.26 this year.

Raiders send FS Kurt Campbell, pick 2.26 nd their 3rd rd pick next year to the (division rival) Chargers for FS Quentin demps, the 31st pick in the 1st rd and the Chargers 6th rd pick next year.

The Chargers send Jags 2nd rd pick next year and pick 7.01 in this draft for RB Brandon Jackson and the Cards 6th rd pick next season.

The Chargers send WR Devin Thomas and the Dolphins 3rd rd pick to the Packers for WR Craig David and and the Titans 2nd rd pick.

The Chargers send their 5th rd pick to the Giants for MLB Alvin Bowen and the Giants 7th rd pick. Bowen has great size. It will be interesting to see how GM Cook uses him in san Diego.

The Broncos send RT Nat Dorsey to the Lions for the Lions 3rd rd pick this year and the Lions 3rd rd pick next year. I am a big fan of Dorsey as I drafted him back in my Redskins days. I think this is a good move for both teams.

The Chargers send the Dolphins 4th rd pick to the Eagles for RT Tyson Clabo. Clabo is very good even though he is in full regression. This is the kind of move GM Cook does not like- a mid pick for an expensive aging vet on the last year of his deal. I am sure Clabo will play well this season.

The Eagles send LT Ben Ijalana and CB Jamell Fleming to the Raiders for LT Claude Terrell, the Raiders 1st rd pick and the Raiders 3rd rd pick. The Raiders got a couple good players here but they paid well for them. This is another trade that should eventually work out for both teams.

The Chargers send WR Cory Rodgers to the Eagles for the Eagles 1st rd pick and WR Tandon Doss. Wow, this is one where I think GM Cook and the Chargers made out extremely well! In my opinion an argument could be made that due to regression which begins next year for Rogers that these to WR’s were close to being even. The Chargers got an extra 1st rd pick in this deal.

Lions trade LOLB Ted Lehman plus their 1st and 2nd rd draft picks next year to the Bucs for LOLB Jon Beason and the Bucs 4th rd pick next year. Beason is a beast but GM Mellon was going to consider going with larger LB’s this season. The Lions for sure got an amazing LB in Beason. I sort of regret thist rade after thinking of the AP’s I put into Beason.

The Bears send RG Clint Boling and the Bengals 7th rd pick to the Giants for their 6th rd pick.

The Packers send their 2nd rd pick and their 7th rd pick to the Bucs for CB Chris Harris Jr, RB Chris Johnson and the Jets 3rd rd pick. Even though Harris Jr is under 6 foot tall I probably lost out on this trade to a sizeable margin. Harris Jr is a good player. I wish him and GM Hickman good luck.

The Packers send CB Kelvin Hayden and their 6th rd pick to the Lions for their 2nd rd draft pick.

The Lions trade the Cowboys 2nd rd pick, the Patriots 2nd rd pick, the Browns 2nd rd pick, their own 2nd rd pick, the Bucs 4th rd pick and WR Michael Flord to the Cowboys for veteran QB Drew Brees and WR Braylon Edwards. This was the big one that caused a stir during this offseason. Did the Lion give up too much? It was a popular opinion. As for me, I do think that was too much to give however let’s face it young QB Sam Bradford was given more than a fair shake to get it done as the starter and for whatever reasons (including a season spent on the IR) came up short so I get the feeling of why a veteran QB was thought of as a major need in Detroit. GM Herr desperately wants to put the Lions into a winning situation this year. I also think he gave a very good veteran GM a lot of ammo.

The Giants send pick 6.14 and their 2nd rd pick next year to the Bears for RG Clint Bolig, pick 7.25 and the Bears 6th rd pick next year.

The Cowboys send pick 4.10 plus their 2nd and 3rd rd picks to the Cardinals for pick 1.32 this year and the Cards 5th rd pick next season.

The Giants send LF Mike Tupati and their 4th rd pick to the Falcons for the Dolphins 2nd rd pick.

The Eagles send DT Brodrick Bunkley and the Chiefs 4th rd pick to the Cards for their 2nd rd pick.

The Cowboys send WR Naaman Roosevelt , the Browns 5th rd pick and the Browns 6th rd pick to the Rams for their 4th rd pick.

The 49'ers send the 15th overall pick in this year's draft to the Texans for LE Robert Quinn. Quinn had a great season last year so I think the Texans were able to sell high here due to that. I think 1.15 is alot to give up for a pass rushing LE with sub 80 SPD and ACC at exactly 80. I will say however, I rarely have success with DL so I am not an expert on this position.

Trades Final But Not Processed Yet:

Raiders sent TE Allen Reisner to the Seahawks for pick 3.23

49’ers sent pick 5.15 to the Vikings for C Jason Brown

Jets sent pick 3.17 to the 49’ers for RE Bruce Irvin

Packers sent picks 2.30 and 7.6 to the Patriots for CB Devin McCourty and pick 5.16

49’ers send pick 4.4 to the Vikings for RG Rob Petitti

The Bills send pick 2.6 to the Vikings for WR Marcus Henry and pick 4.29
