STEALS OF THE 2013 SFL DRAFT ROUND 5-7
I thought there was some solid talent still left even heading into the 5th round where most of my targets got scooped up right before my 6.9 pick which really annoyed me lol Here are some steals of the rounds and like before, I'm definitely going to miss some due to the fact I didn't get all the skews so feel free to list yours.
- 5.9 OC T.J. Johnson- GM Kevin Mullendore
What a great pickup here for the Jets and a definite future starter or can start immediately with 64 SPD 92 STR 54 AWR 71 AGI 73 ACC 81 PBK 86 RBK. That is amazing value this late and to think the 1st C went at the bottom of round 2, if the other C wasn't age 21 I'd say I prefer Johnson, either way the Jets get a steal here.
- 5.21 DE Trevardo Williams- GM Ian Coyle
I have no clue what he skewed out to but if he even remotely stayed the same it will have me thinking how I missed him, 86 SPD 77 STR 43 AWR 76 AGI 71 ACC 64 TAK were his highlights. Almost all but Jordan had shit AWR at the DE position so he's on par with just about all rookies there, his 86 SPD is intriguing and I'm going to say that skews down but even at 83 or 84 that would be exceptional talent here in round 5 considering I took 2 DE's that weren't remotely that fast 2 rounds ahead.
- 5.31 DT Everette Dawkins- GM Gary Hickman
I believe if Dawkins was a 300+ lbs DT he would have been a higher pick, I didn't get an actual skew on him but looks like a solid get here in the 5th that's if his STR stays the same or goes up, if it falls I might have to change my stance but regardless he's a 64 SPD 87 STR 50 AWR 69 AGI 78 ACC 76 TAK DT at 6'2" 292 lbs. , he could also be used as a hybrid DE in a 3-4. I really like that SPD AGI and ACC, anytime you can get those types of players past round 4, it's going on the steals list.
- 6.14 DE RB Christine Michael- GM Brent LaChapelle
Other than the fact he has 2 first names and 1 of them is a woman's , there's alot to like here... SPD 91 STR 63 AWR 52 AGI 93 ACC 94 CTH 54 CAR 85 BTK 77, he's on par athletically with Montee Ball/Le'Veon Bell types, his STR would turn some gm's off but with my experience with Rashard Mendenhall it shouldn't be a deal breaker if the rest of the attributes look good, he won't catch many passes out fo the backfield but I don't think that's a system Chicago runs anyways, solid pick this late.
- 7.21 QB Geno Smith- GM Ian Coyle
It wasn't easy finding a 7th round "steal" but I think Geno Smith was solid value, again I don't have any of Cleveland's skews so I'm not sure but I think his AWR will go up to at least 50, his THP and THA aren't bad at all and he'll need to be changed to a balanced QB if the Browns want to develop him that is. Right now he stands at AWR 48 THP 92 THA 84 at 22 years old, 6'2" 218 lbs. I think he's a QB you could develop but would need to work on him right away to get that pedestrian AWR up, for me he's on par or better than some of the QB's taken before him.
