Wild Card Weekend

Analysis: With a 6-seed winning the Super Bowl last year, I think we'll see the return of chalk (almost) in the first round this year. I like the
Kansas City Chiefs,
Miami Dolphins, and
Tampa Bay Buccaneers to all win their first games as I think the teams are more rounded than their counterparts. I do feel the one upset will come from the
Seattle Seahawks knocking off Daunte Culpepper in what turns out to be his last game.

Analysis: Okay, I'm going to focus on the big story here. The
Indianapolis Colts,
Baltimore Ravens, and
Arizona Cardinals all win their games....but I know what we all would be talking about. It's the
Tampa Bay Buccaneers and GM Bryan Mellon facing his old dynasty, Washington. Tampa Bay pulls out the upset and Mellon moves closer to another title.

Analysis: While I expect the Buccaneers to put up a fight, their journey ends here with a loss to the
Arizona Cardinals. In the AFC, the Colts once again come up just short of the Super Bowl and the
Baltimore Ravens return for the first time since 2003.
Super Bowl XLVII

Analysis: Redemption for Scott Gardiner. His
Arizona Cardinals win the Super Bowl, extending his contract to five games and giving him the opportunity to do what he always wanted to do in Detroit -- completely rebuild a roster with youth.
