SFL Rulebook

5.02 - The SFL Draft
The draft is arguably the most enjoyable part of any GM league.

This is usually run over 3 days (details below). On days 2 and 3, the rounds will follow each other, but will also have a short half hour period untimed in between rounds. It will also be untimed in between days.

Draft Pick Times
These are all set on-site at EST(Eastern Standard Time).
So, if the draft officially started timed from 5pm EST, start times for various places would be as follows:
UK 10pm GMT
US East Coast 5pm EST
US West Coast 2pm PST
AUS 8am

Ratings
The league utilizes a ratings skew to simulate the scouting aspect of the draft.

Physical Attributes (Age, Height, Weight): No Changes
Overall Rating: Not Given
Key Attributes (the 5 that are listed in-game and are bolded on-site): +/- 3
Non-Key Attributes (all other ratings): +/- 5

Draft pick times
Round 1 - 5 minute intervals (Day 1)
Round 2 - 3 minute intervals (Day 2)
Round 3 - Follows round 3 - 3 minute intervals (Day 2)
Round 4 - Follows round 3 - 3 minute intervals (Day 2)
Round 5 - 2 minute intervals (Day 3)
Round 6 - Follows round 5 - 2 minute intervals (Day 3)
Round 7 - Follows round 6 - 2 minute intervals (Day 3)

Round 2 will start untimed following round 1, so if you are around please make your pick.

Auto Draft
  • If you are not going to be around to make your picks live then make sure you have your auto draft board and picks set. If you don't know what your doing then you need to read through links below, if your still unsure then ask either myself or someone else who knows how to set it.

  • In the Auto Draft settings make sure that a position you don't want picked has a "0" in it or the system will select a player continuously from the position that is left blank.

  • You must save each column on the auto draft individually.
