Rams Pulse

an open letter
well i wasnt doing this but i randomly felt like it

as the season draws close to its end my job is on the line against San Francisco
which also counts for the division

i feel blessed to have had the oportunity to get into the league and get the rams as my first team i learned so much and i feel i got a bigger understanding of the game and its features making me improve a lot in the game and my overall gm skills

My team wasnt the greatest (and probably still isnt) But i really feel i did a great job building this roster from basically nothing many picks drafted many late gems and many mistakes made this team mine and im really proud of being in a position that i can keep rebuilding and creating a championship contender here

what i basically want to say is that whatever the result of the game against the niners it has been a pleasure being here and an honor to build the base of what i think can be a superbowl champion

Whatever happens i will go out head high into my new challenge be it the playoffs or another draft oriented rebuild

good luck San francisco and Good luck Peter cuz we arent backing down

Very Late 2014 Season Grades (I procastinate way to much)
QB John David Booty A
3800+ Passing Yards Check
32 TDs Check
Best QB Rating In the League Check
What a Comeback

RB Latavius Murray A+
The Sophomore RB improved mightly in his second season Posting the second most Rushing yards in the league 7 Rushing TDs and 4 Receiving TDs and 4.8 YPC Thats a good season
And he also broke the single game Record for rushing yards in Rams History
258 Yards in a week 1 matchup vs the Broncos

WR1 Mike Evans A+
The Offensive Rookie of the Year Had a amazing year as it was expect for the First pick in the draft 1464 Receiving Yards and 12 TDs are a great start to what we hope will be a Great Career

WR2 Odell Beckham Jr B
The second round pick had a decent year and we hope he can improve in this next upcoming season while his stats arent amazing 775 Yards and 7 TDs are something to build upon

TE Eric Ebron C+
He is good but clearly didnt produce enough to make the deal that brought him in worth it 529 Yards is good for a TE but only 3 TDs makes his rating drop to C+

OL B-
Every single OL was servicable besides RT Doug Free who allowed 11 Sacks Expect better things after the development of the Young Guys and the Signing of Nat Dorsey to replace Free

DL C
Muhammad Wilkerson Singlehandly saves this group his 4 sacks in 6 games almost lead the team which had DT Kawann Short lead the group whit 5

LBs B+
While The Defense struggled a lot the LBs saved themselfs whit a really good season Odell Posluszny Channey(when healthy) Watson and Bell were solid all around in the 3-4 Scheme we had

CBs F
This Group is really Young and unfortunally they just arent Good enough yet AJ Bouye Expecially was awful allowing 47 catches to only 27 Deflections However the youngsters are bound to become better whit PT and we hope that they can improve this year

S B-
This group get tackles they deflect passes and they dont allow a lot of Catches but they cannot get Turnovers thats a big problem whit the team as a hole but only getting 3 INTs were sad

Returner Antonio Brown C
His 1866 Return yards arent amazing but overall not bad not good we need more explosiveness from him this year tho

2014 St Louis Rams Draft Recap Day 1
Last Season wasnt a great year for the Rams as the team went 2-14 And the worse defense in the league despite the good play of Odell Thurman However they did land the First Overall Pick in the Draft and overall having a pretty solid Draft this is the Analisys of said Draft Picks
0ac3366b-1e16-400b-b8bd-0fc58ae61c47-2060x1236-1

1-1 WR Mike Evans
Pre Skew:98 SPD 60 AWR 93 AGI 99 ACC 85 CTH
Private:99 SPD 58 AWR 92 AGI 99 ACC 84 CTH
Ratings 99 SPD 58 AWR 92 AGI 99 AGI 84 CTH

I felt i could not go wrong here as i Had the Generational Talent by the name of Mike Evans in my hands and i also had Jadeveon Clowney in my draft board Ready to be selected as well how ever i felt like i could not pass on Evans his 6'5 Frame and 99 SPD are just too nice to pass on it He will be a Day one Superstar but honestly who dosent know that

2-1 WR Odell Beckham
Pre Skew:93 SPD 60 STR 55 AWR 90 AGI 93 ACC 78 CTH
Private:95 SPD 65 STR 57 AWR 90 AGI 93 ACC 78 CTH
Ratings: 95 SPD 63 STR 57 AWR 90 AGI 93 ACC 78 CTH

It was 2 days before the draft when i decided i would either go whit Dee Ford here or take a WR That fell for me here (The other pick was a CB but i will get to that later) I just fell i love whit OBJ because he isnt just a great WR that skewed well he also was a strong and a great run blocker overall he is one hell of a complementary piece to Mike Evans as we are trying to get QB John David Booty a great Reciving Core for us next Season

2-2 CB Jason Verrett
Pre Skew 93 SPD 60 AWR 93 AGI 91 ACC 69 CTH 69 TKL 91 JMP
Private 93 SPD 60 AWR 88 AGI 91 ACC 71 CTH 69 TKL 91 JMP
Ratings 93 SPD 60 AWR 89 AGI 91 ACC 71 CTH 69 TKL 89 JMP

Verrett was my favorite CB in the draft for one reason and one reason only
HE IS SO YOUNG YET HE HAS 60 AWR he felt like one of the most ready CBs in the draft for me and at 21 he has a long career ahead of him being a Top CB togheter whit Sophomore AJ Bouye

2-11 TE Eric Ebron
Pre Skew 81 SPD 69 STR 55 AWR 82 AGI 86 ACC 84 CTH 69 BTK
Private: Not Avaliable
Ratings 84 SPD 70 STR 55 AWR 85 AGi 84 ACC 82 CTH 70 BTK

I needed a TE coming into this draft and Ebron Looked Good Pre Skew but i knew it was a gamble i had to trade my future first which sucks but IM happy whit Ebron and the 21 YEar Old will be a Elite TE in this league going Forward

Rams Off-season Outlook (How they are entering before FA)
It was a Awful year for the rams this season as the new front office fount it self in a tricky situation Whit QB John David Booty Sidelined for basicly all year trusting Project QB Ryan Nassib into the Scene where he did alright for a rookie but definally not great as He Threw for 2663 yards 19 Tds and 24 Interceptions
the defense was easily the worse in the league as they managed to get 15 sacks all year the same amount that LE Adam Carriker From the championship bound Cardnals had all season

However There is promise in this group

AJ Bouye has shown flashes of briliance in his rookie season and First Round pick Shawn Williams is already a top Safety in the game steady veteran LB Odell Thurman Got 152 Tackles in this Poverty Defense Rookie DT Kawann Short Also Showed some promise late in the year as he got 3 sacks in the last 6 games of the season

Looking at the offensive side we know it wasnt easy for those guys Nassibs inconsistant play didnt help WRs David Nelson and Antonio Brown Do much TD wise As they combined for 10 scores How ever Nelson did post a 1143 Yard Season Showing that he can Be Either a Number 1 or 2 wideout
Rookie RB Latavius Murray Rushed 300 times for 1057 and 4 TDs which is not a bad year all togheter but it is a not very effective year for the Rookie
