Panthers Panthers and Deke Cooper Part Ways

 In a salary cap move, SS Deke Cooper was cut by the Panthers today after 4 years in the league.

A statement from the GM Darryl Breckheimer read, "He's just too old to compete at a high level. This move was necessary."

Coach John Fox was not available for comment.
