In a surprise move the Chargers broke off contract talks with Reche Caldwell, shortly there after a team press release claimed excessive demands from his agent were to blame. Inside sources report GM Anthony Cepparulo said "I'd sooner pay that much to see a squirl eat nuts off of Marty Schottenheimer's ass! Reche Caldwell is done here."
