Packers "Release Me" Clark Haggans Wanted Out of Green Bay

 In a salary cap move, LOLB Clark Haggans was cut by the Packers today after 7 years in the league.

A statement from the GM Gary Hickman read, "He's just too old to compete at a high level. This move was necessary."

Coach Mike Sherman was not available for comment.
