In a surprise move the Giants broke off contract talks with Brandon Short, shortly there after a team press release claimed excessive demands from his agent were to blame. Inside sources report GM Romeo Mendez said "I'd sooner pay that much to see a squirl eat nuts off of Jim Fassel's ass! Brandon Short is done here."
