Raiders Raiders and Sloan Thomas Part Ways

 In a salary cap move, WR Sloan Thomas was cut by the Raiders today after 4 years in the league.

A statement from the GM Garth Pearce read, "He's just too old to compete at a high level. This move was necessary."

Coach Bill Callahan was not available for comment.
