Saints Saints and Derrick Johnson Part Ways

 In a salary cap move, CB Derrick Johnson was cut by the Saints today after 3 years in the league.

A statement from the GM Nathan Jones read, "He's just too old to compete at a high level. This move was necessary."

Coach Jim Haslett was not available for comment.
