Panthers Panthers and Jonathan Lewis Part Ways

 In a salary cap move, DT Jonathan Lewis was cut by the Panthers today after 2 years in the league.

A statement from the GM Leonard Henry read, "He's just too old to compete at a high level. This move was necessary."

Coach John Fox was not available for comment.
