In a surprise move the Raiders broke off contract talks with Robert Mathis, shortly there after a team press release claimed excessive demands from his agent were to blame. Inside sources report GM Garth Pearce said "I'd sooner pay that much to see a squirl eat nuts off of Bill Callahan's ass! Robert Mathis is done here."
