Chiefs "Release Me" Will Demps Wanted Out of Kansas City

 In a salary cap move, SS Will Demps was cut by the Chiefs today after 8 years in the league.

A statement from the GM Justin Herr read, "He's just too old to compete at a high level. This move was necessary."

Coach Dick Vermeil was not available for comment.
