In a surprise move the Lions broke off contract talks with Dante Ridgeway, shortly there after a team press release claimed excessive demands from his agent were to blame. Inside sources report GM Scott Gardiner said "I'd sooner pay that much to see a squirl eat nuts off of Marty Mornhinweg's ass! Dante Ridgeway is done here."
