Buccaneers Rumours Confirmed: Buccaneers Cut Santonio Holmes

 In a salary cap move, WR Santonio Holmes was cut by the Buccaneers today after 8 years in the league.

A statement from the GM Bryan Mellon read, "He's just too old to compete at a high level. This move was necessary."

Coach Paul Criswell was not available for comment.
