Seahawks Seahawks and Gerald Riggs Jr. Part Ways

 In a salary cap move, HB Gerald Riggs Jr. was cut by the Seahawks today after 8 years in the league.

A statement from the GM Rock Hewko read, "He's just too old to compete at a high level. This move was necessary."

Coach Mike Holmgren was not available for comment.
