In a surprise move the Patriots broke off contract talks with Lane Taylor, shortly there after a team press release claimed excessive demands from his agent were to blame. Inside sources report GM Briston Redford said "I'd sooner pay that much to see a squirl eat nuts off of Jim Bates's ass! Lane Taylor is done here."
