Chiefs Chiefs Cut Brandon Pettigrew

 In a salary cap move, TE Brandon Pettigrew was cut by the Chiefs today after 7 years in the league.

A statement from the GM Rodany Mendez read, "He's just too old to compete at a high level. This move was necessary."

Coach Herman Edwards was not available for comment.
