Steelers Unemployed: E. J. Gaines Gets the Axe from Pittsburgh

 In a salary cap move, CB E. J. Gaines was cut by the Steelers today after 2 years in the league.

A statement from the GM Gary Cohen read, "He's just too old to compete at a high level. This move was necessary."

Coach Mike Tomlin was not available for comment.
