Broncos "Release Me" Michael Leunen Wanted Out of Denver

 In a salary cap move, TE Michael Leunen was cut by the Broncos today after 5 years in the league.

A statement from the GM Tom Collins read, "He's just too old to compete at a high level. This move was necessary."

Coach Mike Shanahan was not available for comment.
