Bengals "Release Me" Robert Sands Wanted Out of Cincinnati

 In a salary cap move, FS Robert Sands was cut by the Bengals today after 9 years in the league.

A statement from the GM Brady Tinnin read, "He's just too old to compete at a high level. This move was necessary."

Coach Marvin Lewis was not available for comment.
