Lions Unemployed: Mike Gillislee Gets the Axe from Detroit

 In a salary cap move, HB Mike Gillislee was cut by the Lions today after 7 years in the league.

A statement from the GM Justin Herr read, "He's just too old to compete at a high level. This move was necessary."

Coach was not available for comment.
